Was able to get it to work in newer desktop.
Bootstrap file helped a lot. also had to put in config file to connect to the network.

Thank you!! It's now synchronizing with the network.
Now need to figure out how to get other wallet to work in older computer.

Hello all!

The domain of the old EAC homepage expired. I can register a domain and build a web site, however, the priority is for me to fix the source code of the wallet. I asked an exchange to list EAC, but they reported virus alerts on some antivirus tests. It is probable false positive alert, because the old code contains build-in cpu miner, which had been used for solo mining in the ancient times. I have to rewrite the code of the wallet to not alert the antiviruses, in order to get the EAC listed on exchanges. My second priority is to build the wallet for Mac OS-X.

I would like have a colleague who would help with some things, e.g. the homepage for EAC. Someone able please contant me via PM.

CoinEgg does not allow deposits temporarily.

The exchanges are likely working on figuring out what to do with the EAC in client wallets and what is being traded that is not acceptable to the new wallet. They do not want the extra headache of getting new deposits mixed up with the old compromised EAC from the hack that is in their custody. This is my guess

the Coinegg is the  English version of Jubi, ,, I bought some EAC on Jubi and want to deposit, but they never arrive to my wallet (new version, and old version is dead)....

seem they are running the old chain... so the EAC on coinegg is just a symbol now... only for exchange, can't deposit , can't withdraw!

This shows that the current price is not a reflection on the real value of EAC.

Instructions for *.conf file:
The file earthcoin.conf is not required, unless you need RPC functions. It should be located in c:\Users\[YOUR_WINDOWS_USER_NAME]\AppData\Roaming\EarthCoin\ on a Windows machine or ~/.earthcoin/ on Linux. Why dont you implement POS and masternodes? Also the core is too old.
