Would you accept bitcoin as your salary in your profession, especially if you work in other country?

For me yes I will accept bitcoin because we can exchange it in our local currency.

No i wouldn't simply because i can't use bitcoin to buy daily necessities and other stuff directly with bitcoin here and i have to cash it out on exchange first (it took 1 day) before i can do anything and the fact that it's so volatile is not suitable for regular income. So it's better to receive cash or bank transfer as i can use it directly to buy something.

The number of bitcoins is limited. Where employers will take your coins to pay your salary regularly? No this is not possible. Bitcoin is income in a parallel reality and he will never be able to replace Fiat. If you have an income in Fiat and bitcoin, you will be insured and will never be without money.

Although bitcoin has a character of volatility beyond all currencies all around the world, I guess it's not a problem if you're earning it separated from your current job. Just let your funds of bitcoin grow in an exact span of time, because you won't notice the value will rise thrice than it's current value.

You can look at it from various directions. One, it can improve and make btc known to the world and promote it. Two, if you been paid on a fixed bitcoin ampunt say 1 btc for work done. The value will not be fixed looking at the wobbling nature of the currency.

Bitcoin as salary for a regular job is a nice idea. However, we all know that the price of bitcoin was volatile and any time the price of bitcoin can change to low or high. I think I will accept it because I do believe in bitcoin and I think it will help to gain and make more income.

An example of someone that is making a killing getting paid in Bitcoin is Tone Vays. This guy is charging 0.1 for his trading advice for one hour.

Adam Meister is also asking for a similar rate for some sort of consulting and whatnot.

And of course, Andreas Antonopoulos is getting tons of BTC doing all those speeches all over the world.

So there you have 3 examples of people getting paid in BTC and living off it. You know what to do: become famous and then charge for your time, that seems like the way to go.

Lots of people think it's impossible but I actually stumbled across at least two bitcoin who got paid in bitcoin. Maybe you can go out to your supervisor and check if it's possible for them to pay you in bitcoin. It's not very likely they will be able to pay you but it's certainly worth the shot.

I will not accept bitcoin as a salary because the value of bitcoin is not stable. better receive a salary with fiat and use it to buy bitcoin. this will provide a stable salary

I do not risk taking bitcoin as my salary yet. Its price is skyrocketing, but it can also quickly fall. This is a good tool for investing or additional earnings, but not as a salary.
You don't have to be using/spending all your bitcoins you earn as a salary from your job. Instantly convert a part of your salary to fiat. Save the rest and keep it stored for a long time. You might not regret it. Wink

Doesn't really make sense to me. I'd have to convert it instantly to pay bills. So what the use? I'd rather if i could get my full paycheck in bitcoins, and avoid taxes!

Yes I would like to receive paid work salary through bitcoin. but the company that pays us should provide the convenience and facilities to redeem bitcoins into other currencies.

It wont work for me because of bitcoins unstable value and it changes almost all the time. What if the bitcoin lost it value (only if ) all of your hardwork amd time getting paid is lost. Maybe if bitcoins value will be stable maybe ill accept it as a payment method to avoid taxex and oyher thing. And if bitcoin will be accepted as major currency in the world maybe ill accept it .

I think someday it could be if bitcoin already has a fixed or stable value
But for now it seems less appropriate to make bitcoin as a salary for a regular job, because its value is not fixed or stable and can not be accepted as a means of transactions in some places
Even there are some countries that have not legalized bitcoin

For me it would be the best opportunity for me if i ever given the chance to earn Bitcoin as Salary because i can see the potential of the bitcoin in after many years i know that it would surge it price thus it is good to earn many bitcoin as possible for the future.
I think it could be a interesting thing to think about. but for me the main limit is the volatility of the exchange rate.

The volatility does not bother me at all. I will hold my salary and only spend a small amount of it so that in the future, I can earn a greater money through the increasing in the bitcoin price. Therefore, I will be very appreciate if my salary is paid in bitcoin. The world is changing now, we need to adapt to new change and add the new technology to our life. Bitcoin can make the world better.

Personaly I wouldn't accept that option, unless in some very small part of overal sum but I've heard of some companies in Europe who already have such practice. Maybe this would convenient for employer but not also for the employees because of the volatility and I don't think many people would be happy with such solution.

I think if bitcoin is the main salary I might get because the salary I get in bitcoin is enough to meet the family needs but if it happens I will expand my business to be more advanced and I will tube for the future of the family Grin

It wouldn't be too bad as a salary. I could easily trade some for AUD each month for rent. It really depends on how much bitcoin savings you commit to each month, if you save a large portion of ur income in bitcoin, then the change isn't so great.

Bitcoin as salary is not that effective at present, maybe in the future such an usage will increase when more people starts using bitcoin as well starts investing into bitcoin. I'd like to get paid in terms of bitcoin as the growth is promising, same time there are users who fear about the stability.
