I was thinking about this today. Of how whales can manipulate the market, and so essentially it's perpetual free money.

Yes, they have concentrated almost all the cryptocurrency in their hands. Therefore, they can do whatever they wish - start to sell everything, for instance, and change the picture on the crypto market.

Whales aren't always what they are cut out to be. They may have huge stashes of cryptocurrencies, but they may not always be able to manipulate the market to their liking. If they do dump all their coins, the market is liquid enough to absorb their dump. Of course, the price will fall, but it will not be the end.

People always took the bait whenever the price go down they start to do panic selling which is obviously a no no. Those people should know that it was actually the best time to stock up their bitcoin collection and wait for the price to increase again and make profits.

Agree! People whi enters Bitcoin or crypto should do first research and study about it so he will be informed the volatility of it, how it will be and when to hold and trade or sell. Panic sellers are lack of those lack of information about what they into.

when the bitcoin price drops we should not have to worry and panic because if we panic sell then it will only make us loss and bitcoin prices will also go down, better to remain calm and patient because bitcoin prices will soon recover and rise again

I know some coworkers that sold BTC today, they are real casuals, they got into BTC because they heard it went up a lot, they don't know even to set a local wallet so they store their coins on Coinbase or wherever the fuck they buy at.

That's the problem right here, people buying in without actually trying to understand cryptocurrencies and their implications. Of course they leave the market at the slightest sneeze, I would too if I were only in it for the gamble.

Well, they sold today at at the dip near the $4000 double bottom.

We still don't know whether USD 4k,- is actually going to hold though, don't jinx it. USD 5k,- may also turn out to be a double top :X

The irony is, these casuals are the ones that are always complaining about how it's unfair that BTC is distributed in the hands of few whales, YET, they are the ones that constantly panicsell and give their cheap BTC back to these same hands they are complaining about, because guess who is profiting the most on these dumps: whales. They buy lots of cheap BTC.

If you want whales to stop having so much BTC, don't panic sell or you will keep feeding them. Just focus on your own portfolio and keep stacking BTC on the dips. In the long term, we will win.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that it's mostly whales buying up these dumps. But there's a certain irony in people complaining about missing out while also either a) not trying to get started with cryptos in the first place and b) not being patient enough to hold.

Either way, I wouldn't worry much. It's no one's loss. They'll be back sooner or later.

That is true some are eager to hold while others are eager to sell it meabs they are panic in what will be the right thing to do. Well based on my observation that would always depends on the needs of the person too. We cannot control either sell or hold because it is not a command at all.

Panic selling is typically driven by fear that the market for a particular industry, or in general, will decline, causing additional losses. Panic selling however, can have the effect of flooding the market with securities that are being sold at lower and lower prices, thereby driving the price down and causing more selling. Most market crashes have been caused by panic selling.
Emotions play a key role in everyone’s life and that there is no way that all of us can control our emotions in every possible situation as there comes certain situation when it becomes impossible to hold your nerves and there are so many different reasons behind that. The ones who sell at time of dump do this just because they find it difficult to stay patient and that they decide to sell everything they must avoid loss.

Exactly, that's why some of the newbies in the program tend to sell their funds without thinking its possibilities to grow, It is the basic rule of crypto to hold your funds for better profit.

It is not that literal just hold your funds. Newbies and other people who are not newbies anymore should have the range to know when they are going to sell or not because if they will have no range to when to sell or not then it will just make them lose money because they will be missing when to sell or when to buy cryptocurrency.

It is true that panic sellers are very ironic and regretful when bitcoin increases again. Panicked sellers never think of the future and just follow their selfish thoughts. Of course it is very ironic. So do not be a panic seller and do not think negatively.

Most people can not wait to wait, they prefer to sell at a low price when the fact that is interesting from bitcoin is the price that goes up if it's late in the year or start now, and I'm sure the same thing as last year will happen again.

I think we can control that emotion, everyone can control it depending on their efforts and their patience, I know that every trader must have emotion when the price change is not in accordance with expectations, but they can control it? then try to make plans and discipline in it..

Some of these people probably needed some of their money back, who knows. But yeah you have a very good point. The rich are getting richer because you* panic sold all your coins. Just chill and wait. Wait for right time to buy and sell. They are all in for getting rich quick, expecting no fall. Simply success is in their mind. We all fall at some point.

Not enough patience  Grin. The prices are higher than 4k now. If only they waited a couple more months they could have made a decent amount of money. And I, along with a lot of people suspect BTC prices are going to keep going up, at least until January or February. These people just want the money right now and right then. Unfortunately it doesn't work like that.

I almost did the same mistake, when I entered the crypto market and next week BTC dropped 30-40%. I stop checking charts and forgot about that. I do the same thing every time when the market is going down.

To enter the crypto market you have to be calm, as well as careful with the information you receive from others, or on social networks. No one knows ahead of time how the market will be. Good control of your emotions, then you can make a profit from the market. My strategy is not to sell my Bitcoin when prices drop. That's when I buy more, because I believe Bitcoin will have a nice future.

yeah maybe this is true, but storing bitcoin for long periods is also dangerous
this is just a luck factor and if lucky to save bitcoin in a long time and get the best price,
and if not lucky it will get a cheap price and loss

Most of the panic sellers are the one who doesn't even know the true concept of crypto currency. Before we engaged in this kind of investment we must to learn all the rules and the risks that we are about to face to avoid future losses. Keep in mind that crypto currency market is prone to volatility which can result in very low deep or getting higher income.

panic sell in a market mechanism is a psychology game that is already understood by many whales so they can play with their capital to create a market for them, but we as a new trader or a mimiliki little capital should be more careful and has a provision of taknik trading the cork base so that we do not always get caught in losses in trading

so that no such incident, so that we do not lose money again and again, so as not to the case of expensive purchases and when selling cheap, we should have a trick so when the price goes down do not ever try to sell, we save cob because it will not stale if we save bitcoin , and when the price has started to exceed the new purchase.

Right. When I turn into a panicked seller, I can say that I am not giving a damn about dumping and about the different people who are in trouble.
I'm just worried about losing my money and trying to save them.
So do not be too anxious to calm down and solve the problem and get good results.
All those who are having weak control over their emotions are the ones who find it very much difficult to hold their coins especially at time when the market value of the coins starts dropping down. All they can see is going in loss without even thinking for a while that the market value of the coins will rise again. They go for selling of the coins which then result in huge loss.

Joining this market is almost everyone equipping themselves with the knowledge and psychological skills to participate. Panic and irony only happen to new or hasty people who desire greed and fast. However, people who are mentally strong, knowledgeable about the market are profitable and even profitable.
