ETH - will it go lower

I think 180-200 dollar mark is the ground for Ethereum but if we go into next big bear phase then we could see lower prices.
I don't hold ETH now because it's in sideways but I might buy in the next couple of weeks.

Ethereum was trading for less than 10 $ / ETH not even a year ago. The crypto markets will be completely fine
even if ETH is trading for its fair value in the single digits again.

The only coin that can seriously damage the whole crypto space right now is Bitcoin. All other coins are barely used
anyway for transactions. Most tokens are even worse, because the teams have no real business model or a lack
of good developers and have just been created in order to dupe investors that are flooding in the crypto world due to the ICO frenzy.

If anyone gives me good odds, I´d happily put down a good amount of money that Ethereum will
trade under 100 $ / ETH anytime before the end of 2018.

If we come across through any bad news in coming days then there is full possibility that it will have negative impact on its price so right now I will sit quiet and see how price behaves in coming days and if it goes more lower then I will buy some eth.

I hope the same thing with you, I am holding 6 eth right now. I will sell it when the price has reached 0.09 -0.1 BTC.

It looks like ether will likely rise moderately in the short term. The metropolis upgrades coupled with some of the larger on-going projects for the block chain makes it possible for a new set price.

Good buying time. ETH at $286 is already very cheap. Very far from the more than $300 in the last few weeks. That is good of you if you are able to buy such low price for ETH. The time is almost over for cheap ETH buying. Growth is definitely seen soon for this widely used coin.

I believe it is the right time to buy ethereum because, it may not decline further any longer sine the recent decline was as a result of the decline in bitcoin market value. And since bitcoin is currently on the upward direction so also ethereum is on the upward direction in value. This happen because bitcoin is an independent currency but ethereum and other altcoins are all dependent on bitcoin, and that is why what ever affect bitcoin affect them equally.

There is no difference whatsoever because eth function is only for ico and transaction fee in eth-based market, this coin is useful and not for me to resell, so I always buy periodically, and if eth price is conditioned as now, then I consider it as profit, Eth will be very expensive for the next few years.

I think it has a solid suport on $280 and will not reach that bottom. we all know that there are lots of drama on cryptoworld and it also affects the price of ethereum. the best think that we can do is just hold.

Coingecko has interesting pie chart on volume by market of whichever coin. Currently the only china exch i see other than "others" is OKcoin. Since this a transfer from China, I thought if there's no more to transfer, the price will go back to Business As Usual.

Today's ratio was for OKcoin was BTC 12%, ETH 6%. I thought it was higher. A historical chart should show interesting drops in the China exchange ratios.

Following up, Today's ratio was for OKcoin was BTC 14.5%, ETH 0%(?!). Could it be the RMBers are shifting to BTC for a few last gambles before scooting off to the exits? If this is the case, there's going to be less selling for ETH. Notice in the current pump/rally, ETH is up 18% vs BTC 10%. Has China dried up, is the question.

Another way to look at it is the share done in CNY. Eth is at 10.5%, BTC is at 16.7%. But I think some HKers could also be using CNY so that could be less accurate way of looking at it. The trend is most likely correct. And looking at this is a good way to know if CNY has dried up. BTFD!!

I'm doing trades in btc/eth and although eth rises and rises slowly, because btc is rising faster, it always stays the same in regards to btc/eth. Anybody have an idea of what might come in a few days? Do you guys expect it to reach 0.09btc levels anytime soon? I'd been holding for 0.081 and 0.085 levels some time now but it never reached. Now I'm afraid it might just run fast and break those lines and make me sorry for not putting limits to 0.09 at least

I think it would go higher, because now blockchain are supporting it also. So you can now buy bitcoin safe with ETH. That means that there are people who wants to make ETH bigger.

Most of the people think that eth will be like btc. I think of that also eth will rise up like btc did.

Since ethereum will goes to pos phase there is no way ethereum going lower. It will goes up. When pos phase begin no 9ne can mined it and every body would like to buy ethereum for POS, only 100 million in circulation and ised for POS, making smart contract, doing ICO, investing in some ICO.

That would be totally different story if Bitcoin will go down too low. That might spell doom to the entire crypto market. But that is unlikely. For ETH, still there will be serious problems if that happens considering that many ICOs are built on it. I think the team will do all they can to avoid that.

It's normal in trading and ETH could be go lower than now but in long-terms I'm optimistic to put my money on it.
