i think, the most centralized element right now is developers team. I think we have too little people which can help develop all that stuff around. There are many thing to do like - website improvements, software  and more.  I think it's a question of time that more talented people will come to help with building that difficult things . But still essential matter is cohesion of vision and direction, that's why some kind leaders must be. Like in every business/social project.

BTC fees are high, exchanges has nothing to do with it. If you want lower fees you can buy DOGE, transfer to another exchange and buy some other crypto.
When you transfer BTC from your wallet, exchange, whatever - fees are not going to be smaller.

You can withdraw BTCZ, DOGE, LTC, etc... for very reasonable fees.
