In decentralization we trust !

You can try to increase popularity of your pool by lowering the confirmation coint. Many miners choose suprnova in this reason. They get coins in 1 hour instead 6 hours on other pools.

I don't know where you saw that but you are wrong because the block reward (coin base reward) is only sent when it obtains 100 confirmations and then you have shielded confirmations in the pool which are already at the minimum in my pool so it's impossible to go faster than this. Suprnova pool doesn't pay faster as mine.

tox is just creepy FUDer who always complains & promotes centralization. Just ignore Smiley

GPU is a 50 times faster than CPU. You would need 200 GPUs to find blocks somewhat frequently.

Big question to dev team - why you a not set some specific prefix for btcz address? It's realy scrap when all clones of zcash have txxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx an Zxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  why not something like Btxxxxxxxxxxxxx BZxxxxxxxxxx?

Similar to our mother chain ZCL we are not going to change any address conventions & binaries names.
BitcoinZ core development strategy is simple - just get all latest zcash as they are stable. To minimize future merge risk there will be no changes in addressing & binaries.
All Zcash & ZCL soft is automatically compatible with BTCZ.

Master branch of BitcoinZ in github is already merged with latest zcash 1.0.13 few days ago.
https://github.com/bitcoinz-pod/bitcoinz/commits/master
Stable release 1.1.2 of BTCZ will be created soon.

BTW: Respect for BitcoinZ precursor ZCL & our young brother ZEN - these coins are fully supported by bitcoinz-pod team. We are not competitors.

OMG, it seems that this is an aggressive schoolboy who can only agitate without even delving into the essence of the message. A sad future awaits the project with such a leader.

I called the real reason why more than 50% of the miners choose suprnova - this is fast confirmation (20 instead 100 on others). And it was nice to deprive her of this advantage by making similar conditions on the other pools.

You've said little to nothing good about the project its obvious you are a career FUDer.  Who are you working for?  These little statements you make plant seeds of doubt into those that don't research the entirety of the project...ie "a sad future awaits the project with such a leader". ragnartriangle / JimTriangle is a major contributor to the project like MANY others - there is no sadness about any of this.  This project is a marathon, not a sprint.

Nitpick away at meaningless points and blanket statements - your words will soon, if not already, fall upon those that don't give a BitcoinZ about it.

My message was not about ragnartriangle / JimTriangle. It's just about bitcoinz-pod, because on 80% of my questions he responds monotonously and like a bot "this is FUDers!!!".

Agreed. There is no reason for such expensive server in this moment. Better spend for promote on coinomi.

Would either of you like to setup a $5 VPS and run the web wallet? I'll provide you the Github link shortly.

How do you know how much traffic it gets?

Do you have any statistic from server? It's not seems that many users at one time operate with this wallet. 50 request per hour?

Only 25 votes https://mercatox.com/coins/list?name=btcz      Angry     How many votes need to be listed?

What other exchanges are there with direct Fiat exchange? I know only Yobit but it seems they have trouble with equihash.

My point was you should offer to help the project and if you think a $5 VPS will run a web wallet without knowing the specs, traffic, usage, growth considerations, etc.  You've done absolutely nothing but troll this ANN.

We need people to execute on progression of the project - not scrutinize minute details.  I have three proposals to write to add to the voting block, not to mention I am supposed to launch 2 campaigns that passed vote after 7 days of voting - would you like to manage any of this?

We need execution, not conversation lacking in probative value.  The project will cost money, that's the bottom line.  Some will absorb the cost themselves, and some will put in the time to contribute.  We don't expect everyone to pay for hardware themselves.

You haven't answered any of my previous questions, so I will not afford you any other responses after this. Unless from an objective point of view, it is, in some form, constructive.

EDIT: yes btw - I'm asking for statistics on usage.

Notice, I did not say that it's enough for 5$ VPS. I just agreed with another person that the 44 dollar server has excessive performance. Based on the empirical experience that 4 cores and 8 gigabytes of RAM are too much for the project at this time.

And yes, you did not answer my question about server statistics to pinpoint the need for this server. You just started to provoke.

Could be interesting but I can't help but feel that naming a coin 'bitcoin'-something is just seriously lame.

I cloned https://github.com/anthony19114/mybitcoinzwallet.git repo and have it running locally. I was thinking start with a small server and put it behind a reverse proxy then you can easily scale up as needed without downtime.
