Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Hey,
how long did you wait for the payment confirmation from Baikal?
I have payed on 20.10 and did not get any conformation. My Bank asked me an 26.10 for some information about Baikal (think a lot people get this question, see in this forum) but until this my Bank have finished the payment transfer and I still wait.
Did some other people wait so long?

mine only takes 3 days to get their confirmation email.. ok thanks, I get now a confirmed mail  now I'm happy that the payment was ok, and stay and wait to get the miner and make some coins |

I think transferwise allows you to transfer to the destination's currency only. So you can send hkd to Hong Kong bank account only. But baikal only accept usd |
