It's called "TESTING" them. Also, myriad-groestl was huge profit in calculation before x10 came out to actual people. So consider today's current myriad-groestl profit/price be an example of what Lbry profit will be once they are done "TESTING" them.

I've mined LBRY half year ago and still have some, so I'm not sure if I should sell it or wait. I also wonder what will happen with the project :/

A lot of people are still waiting for shipping batch 2 and they already release new product.....wtf? I hope at least 2 of the algos will be added to giant x10. Just FYI I don't see any announcement date but asicminermarket.com already listed it on their website. People that bought from there.... watch out. I hope at least my miners (25th-30th Dec batch) won't get big delay.

I really don't think it will be as attractive as Giant X10. Either I don't see where is the real profit, either I am right and there is not as much opportunity as Giant X10. LBRY gives 400$ per day, today, but we all know what is going to happen, especially when there is no announcement date, price or whatever and asicminermarket already has a price of 5000$....

I think they mine it in Background... Profit will going down during "construktion period", If they mine in Background......  the ROI will come like the X10 now...

Nobody knows when Batch 2 arrived us.

Nobody knows the two extra Allgos... and how profitable it will be.

It will be seen, how they handle with the X10 buyers in future...

Everyone complains for months about baikal.. Baikal releases new miner.. Same people run to their banks to prepare wire transfer. LOL we are some crazy mother f'ers. Myself included. Although I hope hope hope hope nobody deals with asicminermarket this time.

Hi,

I have a problem with my power supply.
Its a EVGA 210-GQ-0750-V2 PSU 750W SuperNOVA GQ 1x 12V.
When I connect the VGA cables to the miner it doesnt do anything.

Is it damaged or what shall I do ?

they will deliver the update for sure,
but its a little strange that they are releasing the new miner before that.
maybe not a coincidende,
maybe 2 algos from the giant-b
they dont name them so giant-b looks more attractive
and after the sale they name them
just an idea..

I bet the 2 new algos for Baikal x10 are LBRY and PASCAL, or 2 of the blake algos (I could be wrong), but they aren't releasing the update yet probably to sell the Baikal Giant-B first. They know that the Baikal x10 has 7 algorithms specifically and none of them are x13, x14, or x15. Like how would you know only 5 algos but 2 are a mystery on your own product? Like c'mon, if it's really a mystery, then how do you even know it supports 7 algorithms?

Something didn't add up until the announcement of the Baikal Giant-B. They hide the 2 unannounced algos to further sell the Baikal Giant-B. They are thinking two steps forward.

But who knows, I could be all wrong...

If its not 2 of the listed algo's what other options are out there? It would be weird if the two machines overlapped IMO.

If they are 2 of these algos, they would have to sell the B model with very low price, because X10 has good algos and add any of those from B and it's even better and this B model make no sense to buy.
If X10 would have LBRY I would say it will destroy it, but like someone said LBRY might change algo, not sure if it's that easily doable, but it might save the project.

I have a feeling that the X10 algos will be different than the B's.  'B' probably because it's hardware tailored to 'Blake' type algorithms.  Part of me thinks that they asked what algos. people wanted, and some of the more popular ones asked for may have required slightly different hardware architecture to pull off than was in the X10.  This is probably meant to hit that market they identified.

BTW: Running the x10 with a fan setting of 35 makes it super-quiet.  I thought it was off when I went into the basement because I could not hear it over the sound of the dehumidifier. Temps steady at 22c.
