If folks are still looking for these and want to take a chance I was able to order a couple from https://asicminermarket.com/product/baikal-giant-x10-dash-coin-miner/ last night. Never bought from them before but looking around seems legit.  The price last night was $2000, seems their inventory sold out and its now at $2550 with new set of inventory. But they do seem to have an active stock counter showing shipping end of October, so assume they just scooped up a bunch direct from Baikal and reselling. Gonna pay a little more for them but dang the 2000Mhs models are going for over $4k on ebay still.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Sorry to ruin your mood but asicminermarket is somehow a bit far from legit

If you search around the internet on forums you'll see a lot of people complaining about never receiving what they paid for or for receiving faulty devices

Aside from the availability issue, looking at the specs, it says "12V 6pin connectors * 3", and according to the photo, I see 3 boards with each a single 6pin jack per board. So the x11 indicates 800watts, so 800w / 3 = 266watts per board per 6pin jack.

Is running 266watts 24/7 on a 6pin jack even safe? Isn't that the same issue Pandaminers had with their power supplies with too much current on their PCIE cables and the cables/jack melting?

Anyone else want to chime in?

Interesting. Normally the PCI-e slot would provide 75w and the 6 pin also 75 watt where as an 8 port will provide 150w power. Can the ports be of different gauge?

You may have some trouble supplying power to these. Can confirm as a long time user of Baikal that melting cables is an issue. Perhaps more so at 5x power of a Baikal Giant plus. Undecided

Why didn't Baikal send out an email to old customers like usual?

Im surprised people are still paying in the range of $100/1gh for a X11 machine with the difficulty spikes that are coming online at the end of september and continue endlessly through to the new year. More power to you.

Im curious to see what the difficulty level is @ the end of September when Bitmain batch 1 is in customer hands & fully plugged in.

Bitmain probably been running what they are selling already for 6 months. I don't think difficulty is going to go up as quickly as what some speculate.  Regardless at least with the Baikal there are other profitable options beside X11.

The value of this baikal Giant X10 machine is not about X11 algo coins at all...
it is actually all about its capability of mining other algos, for now it can mine quark and qubit beside X11, and I am pretty sure that baikal will add X13, X14, and X15 to the future update (maybe software only)

I think baikal Giant X10 doesn't need to support X11 anymore.
This ASIC already has some unique algorithms.
What's more it gonna be added 4 algorithms by update Cheesy Cheesy

Can anyone from you guys post the full payment details here?

I tried several times paying with the details provided by baikal but my banks ( I tried 2 of them ) give "validation failure".
According to the bank officer this means  something is wrong or incomplete with the details provided for payment.
And of course baikal does not reply.Of fucking course.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before but the warranty is 30 days as per Baikals website on model listed there.

30 days is WAY too short.

Im not risking that amount of money on 30 days. Shows the manufacturer isnt confident in its product.
Your device has nothing in common with the X10 giant...

Slightly better, not way better, slightly...

That is entirely your decision.
I, for example, am not at all comfortable with any of the present miners becuase they have the warranty measured in days and not years like any other electrical device.
