This is the information thread of sales for our Block Erupter USB sticks.

Temporarily Out of Stock
Please ask for stock information to our official resellers. Currently all USBs in stock of our place are either placed as orders or reserved for resellers. We will process existing orders, but not new ones, till our stock is refilled by our factory.

New Sales Policy

Customers in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Please contact forum member rockxie(with e-mail address: rockxie@gmail.com), whose RRP is agreed by us.

Customers in Canada Please contact forum member teek, whose RRP is agreed by us.

Customers in EU, Switzerland and North Europe non-EU countries Please contact forum member yxt, whose RRP is agreed by us.

Customers in the rest of the world
Minimum Order Volume of 50 USB sticks. Price of 0.99 each. 2% sent as redundancy (not in warranty). Shipping is free.
If you reach the total volume of 1,000 USB sticks, price is dropped to 0.89 each. We will also pay back the price difference of all your historic transaction (timeline started from the 0.99 pricing) of USB sticks. For example, if you bought more than 1,000 sticks, 500 for 1.99 and 500 for 0.99, the new price will be 0.89, and we will pay you the price difference for the 0.99 USB sticks, that is (0.99-0.89)*500=50BTC.
If we get an excluding deal with resellers in some certain countries we will stop directly supply USBs towards there, as in the case of China zone, Canada zone, and EU zone.

Shareholder
If you are a shareholder of ASICMINER, you will have the privilege of paying later. You will have 15 days to pay after shipping. The maximum volume of USB sticks for this policy you enjoy is (share number / 3, rounded down). Your (USB number * 3) shares will be frozen, thus not trade-able, as collateral, till payment for the USB. If you fail to pay, the shares will be collected back by ASICMINER. The minimum volume requirement of 50 USB sticks still holds for shareholders.

Hey Friedcat!

Thanks for being explicit (and pretty well thought out and fair) about delivery details and such.

Getting hashing power widely distributed to non-commercial enthusiasts is something that I think important and I have a lot of respect for your efforts in this direction.

Hi Friedcat,

I am in the process of ordering packaging and I just realised that I have no idea of the dimensions of the devices (in whatever packaging you supply).

Can you grab a ruler and tell me?  (In mm)

Will these work with MinePeon?

Probably, but it is untested at the moment.  Kano from cgminer is also doing a lot of work improving support and as soon as that is out I will be including it.

Can the R Pi power a hub with miners?

You can't build a reputation on what you are going to do.

Can the R Pi power a hub with miners?

It will actually only work with a powered USB hub, the pi power output to USB is rather pathetic (something like 50ma) and wont power very much.

No, you will need a powered hub. The raspberry itself only provides 100mA on the USB port (IIRC).

Can the R Pi power a hub with miners?

The RPi will not be able to power a single one of the devices, let alone multiple on a hub - you will need to use a powered hub, that is, one with an external power supply.

I plan on using an RPi with MinePeon to drive my five Block Erupters, through a powered USB hub. Apparently the next version of cgminer will support these devices right out of the box. Kano is working on it.

Could you post your R Rig and components list once you're up and running please.

Sounds exciting!

in short:
Will this work without a powered USB-HUB:

in your computer: YES
(because "normal" computers provide 500mA power on the USB port - but you may need a powered hub if you plan to use several devices on your computer)

in your Raspberry Pi: NO
(because the Raspberry does not provide enough power and therefore needs a powered hub)
