So it won't happen? How can we get more information about it? But I find it absurd that there are no clear info 8 days before the release

Fork will normally happen on the 25th of october, however there is not many information available. For the moment no wallets and only 2 exchanges (yobit and ...) are supporting bitcoin gold.

why buy it? millions of people will get it for free. let that settle first. i checked their website. it's big upgrade on the previously incomprehensible one that was there. they've also removed ico and premine talk but i've no idea how that was gonna work anyway. let's see if they come through with anything. i wouldn't be buying bitcoin solely to get in on this myself.

Hello,
Does anybody know which wallets plan to support the Bitcoin Gold (BTG) friendly fork on October 1st? And what, if anything, should be done by the user?
it looks like bitcoin gold will be a scam coin like bitcoin cash, just waiting for the price to muffle

Isn't it another fork just to earn some money with your current holdings? Any information about which exchanges are going to support it? Any official page that is written in readable english? Without that project will die really fast.
Yes it is though the exchange sites or so are not yet known so be ready free holdings in october 25 . It is manually on getting or claims the fork on a private keys or an private key app supported or a websitee

Don't try to move any bitcoin gold coins on the release day. It's very likely that you'll lose not only your BTG but also your BTC.

Still not, bittrex is having some complains about their closure of accounts so they have to resolve it first before showing interest or support to btc gold.

This fork is very confusional, seems like nobody knows anything except when it will happen, how can any exchange seriously say they support bitgold if they don't even have a working wallet?

Well, nothing is clear at this moment. But as usual major exchanges will definitely support the BTC Gold.
