Maybe and maybe not. It will be seen yet. For me dont think it is scam but i dont like this coin at all.
To be honest this is becoming very annoying every few month we have some new bitcoin announced or launched, what will be next.

Impressive the  bitcoin gold price so cheap,  i remember bch have a first exchange is $800 on yobit exchange,  and now it will come back racing,  i bought bch with $500.
 I think you need deposit  bitcoin to poloinex,  maybe this exchange will support fork  on future

Bitcoin gold has managed to add replay protection so this make things a lot of safer, especially the huge exchange. However, we still have to wait for main net release before we can claim the btg. However, i do know of 1 exchange is trading now.

Yeah, I agree. The blockchain could have an error like old forks in the past ( look it up on Wikipedia) it could be dangerous. I am waiting until it seems safe to get the coins out. The whole BTG community seems to be disjointed and possibly greedy.

Currently bitcoin gold is on test mine stage, you can mine but you cannot get anything since they are just testing
wallet are on the btg website link, ive tested the site as of the moment its ok but, be aware, all miners are waiting
and ready to jump on the boat of btg, in slack they are so eager to start, and that is not a good news for small miners
we just need to wait until when the dev are ready to face the wrath of the gpu's
i the first week of mining when it goes live will be bloody, and full push the difficulty like never seen before

great news. but im not sure yet about this coin. we knew for sure this. coin was in the past. it had a great fluctuation yet its so supicious. it rise termendously and its fall deep down later. so if its mining able maybe what happen in the past would not happen again

Every potentially new and possible good coin have team that is always to greedy to have more for free.
This is the typical case from my perspective they will have more then you think and many are falling into this trap.

Just hope that when bitcoin gold fully functional dont be price less then at least 3 digits for early adopters.

It's perfectly normal taken into account numereous forks that happened/are about to happen. People see they are printing money out of nowhere, and that these kinds of forked coins are worthless. I'm actually surprised to see it at over $130, as soon as they become available for trading (in real form, not as futures), I believe we will see it around $20-30.

Yes it's garbage coin and if you are talking about why and it caused by the bitcoin gold was containing a lot of the pre mined token just like garbage coin. So, there is no difference with the garbage coin. I think you can see some or a lot of people are accused that garbage.
