Well, something is terribly wrong here:

https://blockexplorer.com/
Now with BTC we are at: 494107
Add 10 minutes per block to 499407.

Why do you even have to wait 5000*10min?

We are waiting for next 2,5 hours.
Blockchain Height current value: 496526 / 499407 (2881 blocks left)
Sync in progress.

Do U just post based on what you read in the 'news' or do you actually roll up your sleeves and get into the shit

I just read the news lmao

But after participating in probably 100 coin launches, most usually happen as planned. There are some bumpy launches however and this may be one of those. Most have been shitcoins  lol

No, this team is special, like "Jerry's Kids" special, like special olympics 'special'.

The simple fact that Jack Liao, can put his name on shit, and that the 'token' got banned in aug2017 in CHINA, and get shipped to Russia, where they put together a 'team' in Bulgaria, to re-package the 'token' as a 'bitcoin-clone/gold', is well historical.

In BTC history, I see this as some kind of turning point, where BTC development got off-shored to the insane asylums and prisons.

LOL! that's good  Grin is it that bad of code etc.

I just see it as another clone. But clones and or forks have done fairly well lately. Especially on the eth and equihash coins and even seeing Electroneum with Cryptonote.. so?

Who the hell knows  Grin

Plenty of new writers here Smiley

Many of those pools and wallet domains are registered for BTG devs. Premine, no solo, testnet. I would say this is "little bit" of suspicious.

I have been reading the post since the mainnet live starts and hahaha. I guess its better if we give it a try, I mean who gives a ***K if we waste "lets say a day or so" for mining, atleast we tried. If bitfools is right, then thanks a lot mate for passing the concept to us!

Jack Ma said

"It doesn't matter if I failed. At least I passed the concept on to others. Even if I don't succeed, someone will succeed."

hell i dont know who is Jack Liao and Jerry hahaha, Jack Ma just came into my mind!

Good luck!

I'm syncing my wallet and funny is that sync seems to be slower that devs mining their premine.

btw, I'm here so far:

Code:
./bgold-cli getinfo
{
  "deprecation-warning": "WARNING: getinfo is deprecated and will be fully removed in 0.16. Projects should transition to using getblockchaininfo, getnetworkinfo, and getwalletinfo before upgrading to 0.16",
  "version": 150001,
  "protocolversion": 70016,
  "walletversion": 139900,
  "balance": 0.00000000,
  "blocks": 401127,
  "timeoffset": 0,
  "connections": 5,
  "proxy": "",
  "difficulty": 163491654908.9593,
  "testnet": false,
  "keypoololdest": 1510514787,
  "keypoolsize": 2000,
  "paytxfee": 0.00000000,
  "relayfee": 0.00001000,
  "errors": "This is a pre-release test build - use at your own risk - do not use for mining or merchant applications"

As you can see, devs didn't care about removing that crap too much.

edit:
Also mining proxy is ready, lets see if I can get some on my own before devs end premine (if I can get to 100% of blockchain lol)

They stated 7pm.. so they got about 30 minutes to get there Block 499407 and start hashing on our favorite pools  Smiley  lol not sure where we are now... block

The first pool most likely to except shares will be of course the BTG Gold Pool... naturally

They stated 7 UTC time. It was more than 4 hours ago...

Is there any other source for the current block than http://btg.altpool.pro/?

I was scraping that to track progress, then it got stuck on 496,922 for 15 minutes and now the site's down…

Have U ever thought about going there to pool.gold and looking for yourself?? Or do they still not empower bots?

If it's 'running' then its on TESTNET, if its waiting, then its WAITING for the block-chain to be 100% estimated time NOV 25, block # 499407
