Bitcoin gold is becoming more popular in the cryptocurrency world. Most of the experts says that the bitcoin gold can surpass the value of the bitcoin. I can't predict what will happen to the future and the best thing that we can do is to observe the price of the bitcoin gold.

Well after all the bullshit getting this thing launched, albeit a little late... I fell asleep and woke up on couch an hour after launch lol

Anyways all good. Hashing away just fine now with about 7000 h/s just as I had expected I would.  Grin

Still got some hashing on Electroneum too  Wink

Screwy launch  Roll Eyes

EDIT: Now I am learning there may be a blockchain issue? lol geez BTG GPUGOLD IS DOWN

All they have mined so far has been orphans! lmao

which means the indicator "Luck x.xxx Days" in the statistics of the pool mine.pool.gold ?
when you can see the Bitcoin Gold on your wallet? the pool writes that there is a Paid, but in the purse is 0!, zero.

Ok, it appears now that the mainnet has split into 2 chains... this is lovely. Probably  because supernova has been raping the network and probably has the new chain now .. inadvertently a 51% take over lol (maybe)

but one thing is for sure... we got a problem Houston!

Most pools have stopped mining except supr it seems, but whether or not now he keeps it running is yet to be seen.

The pool does not change the statistics, but the farms themselves work and even find the Shares.

IF you are using ubuntu. The the command is:

bgold-cli addnode "50.244.237.121:8338" add

i had connected with 3 node and waiting more.
Sync to block 30000 with 30 minutes. It is really slow.

I'm using the Windows version - the debug window

type in console window:
addnode 176.9.48.36:8338 add

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Suprnova tweeted and now "his" pool is on the wrong chain, so BTG devs are telling him. It appears his pool took over and created a new chain... hell ought to keep it with the miners lol and all other pools had showed orphans as a result from that point... so not sure what will happen but looks like no one has made any money now

Start a new coin. BTGS  Grin

Yep here we go: statement on Suprnova:

Be aware that there's currently a chain-split happening and suprnova's chain could be "declared" as the wrong chain by the dev-team. However, it's the longest chain so usually it should be okay, it's advisable to not invest in mining until the devs give out an official statement. (Watch Twitter)
