I think we can be a little surprised when the price will rise. What I think is going to be sure, will be the same as with the previous coins after fork. But we will see what it will be.

The price will likely not rise anytime soon. It'll likely loose 500%+ at launch like most coins do. I predict it'll bottom out at 50 dollars before it starts stabilizing/making small growth. This is a fork nobody wanted and is simply riding on bitcoins name. There is no integration support (other than a few like trezor) due to the constant bitcoin forking putting strain on the crypto market. Sure they want decetralization but there are plenty of other forks who do this already. Anywho I won't bother mining a coin that will depreciate until I see it bottoming out.

Just to confirm that I was also able to "claim" my BTG in the android coinomi wallet successfully. Sending them to Hitbtc however takes ages...

same,...ill guess its exodos BIP44 not ompatible with coinomi, eh, maybe BTG will stay at that level for this reason for a while,...pitty i want to buy some more Lights,...eh eh, eh

OK ...so I managed to find a workaround for this issue...

1) You copy your private key
2) You go to bitaddress.org
3) You go to Wallet details and paste your private key
4) You find the base58 key and copy it
5) Then you put this one to the Coinomi sweep wallet thing...
6) Done

I am not completely sure how this actually work...but it worked for me...and I somehow managed to figure that out without any technical abilities and know how Smiley

U found a block?? btg.suprnova.cc is find blocks every ten minutes 24-7

how many miners do u have?  what is your aggregrate hash-power?

I note today that difficulty is down to 3.2M, it was up to 7M at the high,

Now a 1060 class rig running 2k sols/sec, will fetch u about $8/day before electricity,

Not worth to mine, in terms of ROI

Do U all know that BTC-Z ( the real bitcoin-gold ) is now paying out almost $10/day for same machine??

***

price for BTG is now down to prior low of $130, and everybody who got free is selling, there are no buyers

Whales? Why would a whale buy BTG? Knowing that 8,000 (PREMINE) were going to be dumped very soon?

Wouldn't the entry for whales to play their game, be later when the price is $1??

I never heard bitcoin gold of it before. And how many fork does the bitcoin have?

It wasn't a fork, it was a fuck, ( some are calling it a snap-shot; reality is-was it was just another fucking bitcoin-clone that appended onto the existing blockchain )

ALL ALT's are BTC clones, thus there are +2,000 bastard children of BTC floating around

BTG BITCOIN-GOLD somebody just took the source, added zcash POW, and recompiled, ,then they modified the block-chain to be 2MB rather than 1MB, which made the user have to recompute the entire chain, most ppl like BTC-Z start from scratch a new light weight block-chain

BTG was a kluster-fuck, but brilliant marketing & PR by RUSSIAN/CHINESE MAFIA

The BTG-DEVS have been NO WHERE to be seen 2+ days

There is no communtiy, and NOBODY maintaining this shitty code.

the real bitcoin-gold is here its called bitcoin-z ( btcz ) and it works, and its cheap @ 20 satoshi, but right now its a top miner, you can fetch +$10/day on a normal 1060 rig

right now mining BTG will get about $7/day, but dropping like a rock

Earlier I saw HITBTC @ $130 near the all time low for the futures trading, now its back up to $140,

WHO IS BUYING THIS BITCH?

There should only be sellers?

R the same fucks that brought us BCH, and kept that bitch alive, R they now trying to create street credibility for BTG?

Me thinks that there are WHALES, but most likely connected to Jack Liao, remember they want to SELL that 8000 block ( 100k coins ) PRE-MINE, they probably got professional market makers in there getting a run up, so they can dispose, can't imagines any dev's going to hold? Can U?

DEVS have not responded to shit on GITHUB now 2+ days its clear the CODE has been abandoned

I already sold my BTG coins when it released first in the exchange account of me. I don't need anymore trashy fork coins on my wallet. I directly sell them. Bitcoin is there as bitcoin even those fork things.

Never trust fork coins and don't hold them in long run.

Just sell now and buy in lower. Unless you think it's going up in the short term.

From the whattomine, BTCZ is no longer the profit that you mentioned...

Strange, when I go to the GPU area of whattomine.com I still get $9/day for BTC-Z, but when I go to the solo 'coins' pull-down for same coin I get $4/day, that's ok, so its still holding where it was earlier, clearly something is wrong with the invididual pulldown 'coins' column

I'm mainly mining zen-cash, ...doing fine for months on my rigs.

Problem with BTG is btg.suprnova.cc is giving me+500ms on the ping, and miner ain't getting any 'work' so the sols/sec average is in the pits, no point of mining btg, until there is a pull-back, I got some the first few hours solo mining then switched to suprnova, but now back to zencash 100%

I did mine btcz a while back, to my 2,000/day/per-rig, but honestly how many 10's of 1,000's of these 2 satoshi coin does one want to hold? Me think 10k is enough to be done, also its gone from a penny back to 40% of a penny, seems like the whales have moved on?

I don't care about price its a good coin, to hold (BTCZ)

***

Shit music-coin is almost $10/day now, that's another coin you can get 1,000/day and just keep them around ....

Lot's of stuff out there for miners to accumulate, that will 'test' time, unlike BTG, with the DEV's gone, how can this bitch last, yes I know the future did fine without real software ,so now we have a zombie coin that lives on Smiley

Many people did the same with the Bitcoin Cash coins. And most of them are regretting their decisions now. What is the problem in keeping at least some of the coins, when you are getting them for free? For my part, I haven't sold any of my BCH coins. Right now I am having almost equal amounts of BTC and BCH in my wallets.
