i think that one is just an example coin from the person that made doubloons, to show others how to make coins.

LOL, this coin is part of my How-To guide.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=217636.0

That said, the code is good, only ~30 or so blocks mined as part of my guide, I'm not running any seed nodes so you'll have to make them yourself, and I already have a functional windows wallet if you really want it:

https://mega.co.nz/#!E4IQ0YQZ!fQ3aCRwtgtqSX27ChhK0pn3K575ZzSdRu4Zd5Okc6Ro

THIS COIN SHOULD HAVE NO VALUE--though there will only be 10K of them mined, and it will only take about a week if the pump and dumpers hit it hard. 1 coin per block reward too. MUCH more rare than Bitbar eh? Happy mining Cheesy

I'm starting to think 90% of this forum section are unemployed, stalking Github and multiple forums.

COULD probably have something to do with it missing genesis block or just NO ONE mining it.

NO ONE mining it.

You got it. It has a block, its even got a -qt, but there's no point. It will only source 10K coins and at 1 coin blocks every 2 minutes they will run out pretty quickly.

Making it more valuable ironically. There hasn't been a coin that has actually used up all the coins in the supply yet.

Only a fool would pay anything for these. The point of it is so that people can learn, not to use it.

The same was said for JunkCoin, and Testnet, both now have some value.
