In bitcoin world and other investment paradigm, duration matters a lot. If you are looking at long term plans then forget about the current prices. Here assumption is purchase of bitcoin periodically like monthly or bimonthly. If goal is short term then don't expect much of gain or profit.
At this stage, bitcoin will recover slowly toward 5k per btc.Thing is currently btc price is at 4.3k, careful investment at stage wont hurt much. In long run you will find investment done at 5k would also bear more fruit.
There is no need to pay above market value, just go with listed price. You are supporting bitcoin and bitcoin will support in future. That is for sure.

Well to tell you honestly my friend, most of us here doesn't really stop buying BTC, its because some of us here think for long term not only about a short period of time. Its up to you ti decide whether you are going to stop buying or not, mostly people here are investor types ang long term holders, rather than swing holders or short tern traders.

If I may recommend a strategy, you can still buy BTCs as long as you have to know the exact time to cash in your really money for BTCs. Exactly thats a good Idea. We can see in last few months china have a great effect into bitcoin and that effect was negative to be exact. Maybe wait until everything will be fine again before you buy bitcoin. You can hold for what you have now and wait for other things that will be happen next. Just obseved in the market and whe you see that bitcoin was returning into better then thats a good time to buy it again.

The only moment that you should stop buying is when bitcoin price starts to recover after a drop. Usually, in the recent years, when bitcoin price drop and it starts to recover, it usually doesn't just recover, it exceeds it's previous price before it starts dropping. Start investing when bitcoin price drops.
