BTC is NOT dead. The plan is a shift to Ethereum. Maybe. In future.
There is no such plan. They will likely exist alongside. But in either case, there are developers who are working on implementing smart contracts on the Bitcoin blockchain, and tokens already exist on it (such as NVO and Counterparty).

bitcoin is not dead. You can argue it's not really useful nowadays and I quite agree with you, but saying it's dead sounds too harsh for me. It's just switching its original purpose I would say.

There are no big differences between bitcoincash and bitcoin. so if bitcoin kills, higher quality projects such as ethereum rise to first place.

There are huge differences... BCash is the tool of a criminal who doesn't mind using lies, propaganda and other illegal tactics to try and increase his wealth.

There are huge differences... BCash is the tool of a criminal who doesn't mind using lies, propaganda and other illegal tactics to try and increase his wealth.

And if I may add, Bitcoin has the full backing of many investors and this community. So I guess that enough to say that they have difference. The support for bitcoin is overwhelming, but bitcoin cash has to react lies, and spread fears against bitcoin so that people will shift to them. Sadly though its not happening that's why that so called flippening didn't materialized but instead they sunk deeper.

Yup, BCH is just another form of BTC with faster transfer speed and nothing more... If BTC dead, BCH will also dead..

There are a lot of other option other than BCH for faster transfer speed as there are a lot of ALTs out there. So yes I agree that ETH might be the option if somehow BTC failed us..
Even I think BTC won't be at that situation as BTC is the very 1st crypto that has a very great impact on other crypto coins ~

As far as I know, Bitcoincash died with Bitconnect recently so there's no point shilling it. And Btc just rested and you people against it thought it was over but now it's coming back and I've just seen it reaching $11k again.

Actually there are so many bad rumors about bitcoin but its cost is still increasing every day. This is really what makes people hate the crypto market indignant. Although some bitcoin altcoins have collapsed, they have no relation to the cost of bitcoin. China strictly prohibits bitcoin, but its price is approaching $ 10500. So nothing will affect the bitcoin unless the whole world boycotts them.

I personally don't think so.
First, I don;t see that Bitcoin will die in near future, it will get even stronger.
Secondly, I couldn't see why BCH can overtake BTC.
If BTC gonna die, BCH will most likely dying too.

Time has proven that Bitcoin Cash really doesn't go well as 'Bitcoin killer' like it proclaims. For future, Bitcoin Cash will stay at the same it right now, a fork from Bitcoin, nothing more.

I do not think bitcoin will die in an instant. there is still plenty of time for bitcoin to survive in crypto and if the bitcoin is dead then that will replace its position is ethereum

I had fun reading this post and comments. At first i thought it was new and upon checking the date. Oh it was mid last year. And before the year end bitcoin price was almost $20000. Now i realized that issues about the downfall of bitcoin was all speculations and all who believed is completely a loser. And it made me a more and strong believer of bitcoin.

It was propaganda for BCash paid by a convicted criminal going by the name of Roger Ver.

And no other cryptocurrency could ever come close to bitcoin's feat or can even surpass it. Bitcoin's market cap alone can consume top 20 altcoins' combined market cap. Btc will always be the king and no crypto could ever dethroned it while its presence is still there.

I don't think that such wishful thinking of Bitcoin Cash overtaking Bitcoin very soon would likely to happen. Bitcoin has established a very strong presence against the new kid on the block, that any attempts to devaluate Bitcoin will not be successful. Purely wishful thinking indeed.

Bitcoin will never die! And no BitcoinCash can beat it, it's our dad and he will live forever, and rumors go a lot, but these are just words and do not mean anything!
