There's actually no good and exact amount needed in order to buy a bitcoin. All you have to do is to be prepared and to invest only the amount you are afford to lose. If you are a newbie, then you can start with smaller amounts. This way, it won't hurt in case you lose your investment. After all, there's a beauty and a lesson in failure. After that, read, research, seek information, and learn on how you can do better. Once you have the knowledge and the confidence that you will do better than the last time, then you can risk a higher amount, and so on. But then again, only invest an amount of money you are afford to lose.

There is a coming fork this mid-November, and many bitcoin-ers are expecting and assuming that bitcoin's price will drop from its current price. This situation will be a very good catch to buy bitcoins, because after this fork, price of bitcoin will surely and definitely will go up back again.

Well, the current behaviour of Bitcoin is very wild so buying it for the short term would be a very risky decision. I am expecting a correction of at least 20% to 30% at the current price of Bitcoin within next couple of months. The quantity of purchase order is a subjective term and we should not comment on it because it differs from buyer to buyer. However, when someone is buying at the dip, he gets the maximum amount of Bitcoins as compared to that of the purchases made in situations like the current one. Thus I believe that is is less about how to buy and more about when to buy!

What is a good amount of Bitcoin to buy for first time buyers new to the crypto market? What kind of return can you expect to see within a week?
Perhaps, as long bitcoin is not reaching 10, 000$ each it is still good to buy of it, though its expensive already. But if we are looking its future we will look forward unto it. For sure the in the end you will benefit of it anyhow. Smiley

Right now the Bitcoin price is rising due to the next fork, as people will try to HODL bitcoin to receive the new forked coin

You should try to buy Bitcoin after the fork as people will once again start buying Altcoins and that should force the price down

For the question as to what is a good amount you should start with a low number to get yourself familiarized with the wallets like 0.02 or up to 0.05

Then after you are more familiar with wallets and exchanges you should try investing as much as you can spare  that means to be reasonable with your finances and consider it a high risk savings account

For beginners I think $100-$200 is a good amount to start. Buy and see how it works, learn how to storage your coins, watch your progress along the weeks/months, calculate the profit you can make. If you really like your experience with Bitcoins, buy more. If you have conditions I think at least 0.5 BTC is an interesting amount to hold as BTC price now is expensive, but it will become even more expensive.

Yes i was also going to say that 100 dollars is a good amount to invest in bitcoin for starters. If you invest now 100 dollars when the price is at 6500 you could get 1000 dollars when the price hits 65k. This will ofcourse take a long time, but it is worth it if you can live withouth spending your bitcoins. I mean if you have a job you can continue living in this world. If you get 1000 dollars you would just have extra money for only time.

It depends on your financial capacities because majority would recommend you to buy at least 1 bitcoin because with such amount of coins you will be able to get some new coins from future forks. So as you can see 1btc * x(total number due to get multiple grants). Any other lower amount should be suited to your potential by the way if you are total newbie here you are even able to buy bitcoin for 10$ learn hot it all works, hot to secure coin, useing wallet, etc. It would be very usefull. Also if you think about trading then for sure start with the stiver it and then learn.
So you should decide yourself what to do, but we hope that our posts will show you the opportunities and dangerouses.

in my opinion for beginners you must buy a low amout to try how its work or let we say to learn what will happen on your bitcoin after weeks. Or i suggest must search to gain more strategy on it.  Cause as i know some of the crypto buyers has a strategy to gain more return in just a weeks depends on btc value cause sometimes its always volatile. You must know also how to buy in the righ time and to sell. That is the most Important for beginners . learn firs before anything else if you dont have guide.

Buy any amount what u like min 0.0001(i think this is minimum), minus fee mining to carefull. I suggest u should buy 0.01 or above.. You can get interest about 4-10% after one week. But not only Bitcoin, u can buy some coin like: ETH, LTC, DASH. Hope you will earn profit on cryptocoin world

If you can buy or accumulate 1 full Bitcoin, that will be a great investment. But now that will cost you $6500 so it may not be realistic for most people. So I think a reasonable balance would be to buy 0.1 Bitcoins at least. That could still be worth a decent amount of money in ten years and it won’t cost a fortune to buy. The key is to hold it as long as you can so you can get the most for your money.

I think more buy bitcoin better, because it will gain a lot when bitcoin prices rise. if you do not have a lot of money, as much as to buy bitcoin, I strongly recommend buying bitcoin because in the future the bitcoin price is very expensive.

I think any amount will do if you want a good amount of btc to buy but there is no assurance if how much will be your exact return within a week, it just depends on how high or how low is bitcoin as of the moment. But for sure there is a return if you just wait.

Well it really depends on how much your budget is, also always factor in risk and loss. If you are going to invest/buy then hold it for a really long time then you can go ahead and buy now. But since you are asking how much profit you can get in a week probably you are going to trade it. No one can give you an exact answer on how much you will be getting in a week but if you are familiar with trading other platforms like stock or forex i can say i was able to get more profit in a week in cryptocurrency compared to a week  profit in stocks. Right now try to check the price history of bitcoin and see for youself the potential you can get in one week.

No one can tell you exactly if what is the good amount to buy but you, yourself only. I mean taking this on board buying now is expensive than it was based on our capacity to buy it in which we compared it to what is in our wallet. Get what I mean, but here's a penny for a thought dont buy the amount of  BTC you are willing to risk. Think ahead of any worst scenario as possible in this way you will be more vigilant to buy.

Sometimes you can expect zero returns over the week and so times it could be as high couple of hundred dollars in first place. If you are rich guy then you have no limits on buying because you won't regret for your loss (which is rare in bitcoin) but boundaries must be made at all times and then we should invest our money. For me I spend around 1K to 2K depending on different factors per month. This investment has to be made because without that I can't earn big interest rate on my investment. Dont like playing slowly as it kills the profit. For bitcoin with huge investment comes the huge interest thats why it depends on your potential and what you can afford.

It is said that 1 Bitcoin can make you a millionaire someday in the future, but I guess this future is more than a decade from now, not a week.

Don't focus too much on weekly income because bitcoin is good for long term and the price of bitcoin as of today are quiet high, wait for the correction time and then that is the time you invest and hold it for long term, you will surely make good money in the long run. Hold more bitcoin as you could before it takes higher, this is the future of our technology.

I totally agree. If you expect to see bitcoin profit within a week, you should buy about 100 BTC. You must wait some years if you want just a small amount of bitcoin.

For me looking at todays value of bitcoin it seems that every amount it has today is a good opportunity to buy and invest especially if you are planning to hold it in a long run because what bitcoin has at this point is a continuous value appreciation and speculators believe that as long as bitcoin value is under price it will continue to appreciate which is good for those investors like us and even in a week you can see that you can earn good enough for a short term investment.
