I have no mercy on these people. Because they`re not harming only me personally, they`re also attacking the Crypto community and our reputation. They`re ruining this system for lots of people and they`re the reason lots of people still think Crypto is scam. I fuckin hate`em so bad

that's the best assumption, yes. i believe USDT is can still be withdrawn. USDT is currently trading at 10:1 to USD. that tells us how other wex users are pricing in the chance of recovery: 10%.

they don't have much incentive to come back even if they had the funds. they've lost the trust of users. and now that binance has frozen accounts believed to be tied to wex cold storage wallets, it looks like they don't have the funds anyway.

They have locked all major withdrawals, we can do nothing except wait. I see it is likely to disappear in a short time.

Is the lockdown due to binance freezing their funds or their own doing ? We could appeal to binance/law authorities to release funds - unless there is a better way .... open to suggestions.

Since obviously people didn't listen to everybody else saying this place was a scam since the exit-scam 2 years ago, is it time now to add more to the pot to get these guys heads on a platter? Some of us had 6digits losses when they first scammed everyone even after that BS 45% 'refund', now they are doing it again.

what i understand from the last maintaince, the owner got called from ?taiwan? on a lawsuit concerning Wex found trades/ilegal as fbi claims from btc-e on the previous name of the exchange. (fbi ceased the wallets ,took down the trade).

As for then, the real owner had traded/sold the trading site now called WEZ.NZ. (says the romours)

So this new owner is the responsibel for "maintaince" closed withdrawls, no funds... and the prosecution of the  cases is on the wex owner/holder or the entitled person/owner.

Past months there has been 1update, (don't send funds to fake "wex.ac").


Today the site has been shutdown by newzeland .NZ ?goverment? .

On 21 November 2018 the following domain names were suspended:

•    wex.nz
•    wexbet.nz
•    wexcash.nz
•    wexcoin.nz
•    wxcash.nz
•    wxcoin.nz

wex.nz and the associated domain names above, were displaying a cryptocurrency website.

The names were suspended following the Domain Name Commission’s enquiries in to the accuracy of the registration details for each of these domains.

The Commission initiated an investigation following complaints made to it.

The Domain Name Commission has suspended the domain names for fake registration details in accordance with enforcing data validation measures under the .nz Principles and Responsibilities policy. The Commission wants .nz to be a safe, trusted and secure domain name space which is supported by its data validation process.

The individual who registered the domain names was not able to verify their contact details - and having valid contact details is a prerequisite for any .nz domain name holder.

If you are New Zealand based and have been affected by the cancellation of wex.nz and associated domain names - and have reason to suspect any fraudulent or criminal activity - we urge you to immediately contact your local Police station and report a crime or make a report via Netsafe https://www.netsafe.org.nz/report/
