I had a similar error on another coin. It would fail with an error on not finding boost/random/uniform_int_distribution.hpp. I had to specifically install a version of libboost-random-dev greater than 1.47, which was the default.

For very low difficulty, isn't it pretty much guranteed that the highest hashpower will mop up all the coins as the new blocks being found has the fastest access to his node? So somebody is enjoying way too much sex.
