$15 a day on coin that can't be used or easily converted BTC, ouch. I would switch to a new coin sooner rather than later. Just my opinion. Some guy was wanting to buy some of these earlier, track him down and cash out as much as you can.
Yeah I'm waiting for the difficulty change at block 20640 first... I'm not going to leave other miners hanging crunching through hard blocks.. and I'll leave a rig on the network. It seems mining has changed .. It used to be that you mined because you believed in the principles of the currency and in years to come they might be worth something... how many months did those BTC early adopters run their rigs mining worthless BTC? Now you hop currencies like you used to hop pools, and dump 'em as quick as you can.. It's bad enough that you actually are better off guessing which currency is gonna rise so you already have a stash when they hit a peak.. And I speculate that all alts will rise as ASIC's take over the BTC network, so even then you might be better off hoarding.. But, this is just a hobby to me, not a business. I have enough BTC to mine what I want until August and pay that electricity bill, so I'll take the risk.

Sexcoin Block Explorer: I've cobbled together an Abe test block explorer on a crap server, because I think we could use one. 2GMTA stopped serving theirs up. http://litecoin.lavajumper.com:9950No promises about how long I can keep it up, but I'll run it here as long as I can, or until I can find a good host. Until then, enjoy!

I agree alts are a dime a dozen but I felt something with SXC, thinking this could actually take off in the industry- but then you think why wouldn't BTC just do this? It's a bittersweet feeling. I mined a couple of thousand coins to just have but I'll let his play out a bit more before getting back into it.
Time to start thinking with your other head.

Do you think LTC miners ever imagined them being $4.5 a pop when they were mining in the early days?? ;-)

"Ya never know"...too true. Also: It looks like 2GMTA is back up. http://sxc.p2pool.nl/chain/SexcoinI would suggest using theirs. As I said, mine is on a server that's a bit flaky. I am keeping mine up for testing though. And you are welcome to use it.

Yeap, I'm mining LTC on a PPS pool as a default (in case of pool problems, etc) but at the moment I've split my hash power 25% LKY, 50% BBQ, & 25% SXC. I've been playing with the daemon, so I moved my SXC mining on to a dedicated rig where I can start playing with php if the fancy takes me. If SXC ever reaches 0.00001 BTC on an exchange, I've done extremely well I might move a rig onto DGC if the difficulty decreases, depending on how many coins I have of other sorts and if there is a really profitable coin, I might mine and dump.. You just have to stay flexible When profitability goes down and miners hop off, I'm happy cos I'm getting more coins to hoard. "Ya never know"...too true. Also: It looks like 2GMTA is back up. http://sxc.p2pool.nl/chain/SexcoinI would suggest using theirs. As I said, mine is on a server that's a bit flaky. I am keeping mine up for testing though. If I do some messing around with php, I have been inspired in part by your work.. Though I'm no code monkey.. more of a cut and paste and follow the directions and tinker till it works or I get bored with it.. but I've been doing that since I first bought an Amstrad 64
