will this update be released soon? if not this coin is dying

i agree. i've been waiting all night on one confirm.

seem's like the dev never ended up doing it last night  Huh

see, this is the type of crap that kills promising coins. pisses me the fuck off. especially when i spend time building a site like this : http://megs4u.tk

I agree, if you're the dev then stick to your words especially if you have serious supporters for the coin

Give the guy a break, kimoto said update today and he is testing a patch.

Better to roll out a confirmed fix than some screwed up patch that introduces more problems

Relax, the network hash is still around 50mh/s and transactions are working great.  He said he is working on releasing a proper update and I'm sure it will come out when its fully tested.

Not at all, I sent three transactions today to cryptsy and they all took less than 10 minutes to confirm.  Does your client have any confirmations on the transaction?  Post the details on the transaction.

Heres one of mine:
Code:
Status: 128 confirmations
Date: 6/12/2013 11:29
To: Cryptsy
Debit: -7195.00 MΣC
Net amount: -7195.00 MΣC
Transaction ID: 3d8598766df35b542fb1f84cc916567ead32e21aea644fbcb93b6efaf5488a7f

wow, its funny now that i've bitched about it to cryptsy and in this thread, my transaction immediately starts to confirm. i've literally been waiting all damn day.

Regarding why no patch for cpu thrashing, maybe fix is not so easy?

Maybe the patch he was testing didn't work???

yep, it appears the problem was with litecoin and megacoin clashing on the cryptsy server.

The worse part about being involved in crypto is the amount of children running around with their hair on fire. So dramatic, so disheartening, zero patience for anything that goes awry for a few hours. Everyone has their favorite coin and poster child dev. Its like watching lemmings sometimes.
All that drama aside.
Megacoin is something pretty exciting. Its new software and lots of new things to figure out along the way. Relax, steal one of Dads beers and chill.
