How do you find your ICO's ?

I have been looking to invest into more ICO's but i'm having some trouble to find the ones that do not scam you. So my question is:
How do you guys find your ICO's and how do you know they are a scam ?

There are lots of ICO as of now and telling about on the project that wont scam is somehow hard to tell because we wont able to identify which of them would run later on when they do accept some funding already.This is why as an investor we should really research on the people behind on it specially on their whitepaper you can able to see if this would be a good project this is why we should carefully choose.

If they use genuine profiles and photos on their teams, and they have a clear partnership, I'm sure the ICO will not scam, and look at the followers and members of their social media, if a lot of people are active there the project is great

As far as i know.there is no clear guideline how to distinguish ico scam but there a few way to consider that could help you decide before buying in.
For me i look closely on several details.
I spend a lot time  reviewing whats writen on the whitepaper and website does the plan make sense or just a crappy one. i also check who are the people involved if i cant find any information about them thats a quick reg flag for me.
You better check also the community on bitcointalk, reddit, twitter or any media platform that some people make review about them.

I do not join any group and all juts follow the forum because all the ICO that will be coming in the next few weeks or month it will be posted in the new thread and may be even a signature or bounty campaign for the promotion. After reading the details and understanding the future I invest accordingly.

Just google "upcoming ICOs" or "ICO reviews". There are lots of good sites out there.

Dev transparency is one of my indication that the project isnt a scam because you would able to know them without hiding their faces into public and just like on what you said here that looking on their social media status and media partners if they are tied up on big and popular ones then for sure chance of scam is near on 0% . This is the projects which do deserve on my money to put on.

Ye, team with real faces is very important. This is not right only. In forum there are samples where known guys became scammers. But it is exclusions. If ICO make own  thread on forum it is sign that need pay attention to WP and site.

I am looking for them on bounty and ann pages. I also follow ico pages over web. I ask my experienced friends about ICO I found. I try to find consensus then I jump in.

I believe you can subscribe to ico-alert.com newsletter, you will receive latest updates on the new list of ICOs on the website but make sure you do your due diligence and research the project before investing in  any this can be a lifesaver

In my opinsion the following things are scam indicators:

* paid and useless posts in the thread (mostly in-thread bounties paid offsite
* no or less dev posting activity
* huge marketcap or no cap

A ton of good coins answer to these criteria. Just because the coins aren't doing so well or are taking a lot of time, doesn't mean they're scams

I think you only find good ones with training. You can look on twitter or here in the forum actually.

I first find their team members and check their background. If their background is clear and clean, I check their web site's professionality. Then I decide whether to make investment.

I usually look for their social media accounts and follow them with their updates and new projects to see if their ICO is really legit and not going to scam participants joining them. Also I check their websites sometimes too.
