Hi Andreas. That method did not work. The staking rewards got carried through with a cost basis from the transaction date, even though i labeled them income. So they did not aquire their true cost basis (zero) to carry forward in the system.

Would it work to assign manually a cost basis of zero to the staking reward (BUY) of .1 CRO.  shown in this picuture.   Then, in the subsequent withdrawal of 10.1 CRO that zero cost basis of the .1 CRO would be averaged into  the new cost basis of the 10.1 CRO?

Yes this sounds good even if I do not fully understand the crv/cvx crvcvx topic here.
Convert sounds to me like a trade. If your country is not affected by the 10 year rule you do not need to use "staking" as trade group to separate the pools.

Why you want to have cost basis of 0? You rewards have a cost base (asset value) at the time you receive them of course.
Please check this article if you would filter them in some reports e.g. gains page: Why and when an Airdrop or other income transaction is shown with a cost base? (https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000018292?lang=en)
Of course setting asset value to 0.00000001 (not zero) would technically work.

I'm having an issue with a token swap that is not recognized by Cointracking. I bought some VEN tokens in 2018 which were renamed to VET at some point after. Cointracking is not able to link the buys and the sells for that coin, and the sells are counted as I purchased at 0. Any way to fix this in an easy way?

I guess my only option is to remove the VEN transactions and add them manually as VET?

You can take the VET income transaction and adjust it into a trade. Please add the trade group "swap" here to have no gain/loss calculation or restart of the holding period.

Now I have the same problem with WAN or ICX since they had ERC 20 tokens before having native chain tokens. I don't see the ERC20 to do the swap, is there a way to add the token TICKER manually? Something else I should try?

Hi Andreas,

How would you suggest I handle the following?

I purchase a NFT (code as trade) which contains x amount of "Token A"
The NFT drip feeds "Token A" over a period of 4 years.
I "Claim" the "Token A" from the website from time to time as I see fit.

How do I code the Token A?
It is not staking as the NFT value drops because you are effectively removing value from it each time you remove Token A.
The NFT is effectively a bulk purchase of Token A that you can collect slowly over time.

Issue is I cannot see what the total supply was on purchase date. So i'm stumped On chain data only shows the purchase of the NFT, not the total $WOOL supply at that time. I can see current supply, but no historical data
To make it worse they have now grouped all pouches together online when claiming, so I cannot count back from claimed amounts.

Another idea would be to just add a "spend" transaction of your paid token. And then just add the rewards whenever they occur as "income".

I am working on my taxes - and it appears the software is automatically importing my Solana address transactions. Is there a way I can stop this?

In order to get the information correct, I have to pull some of the transactions with the software automatically, and I have to pull other parts (NFT trading, staking etc) from another software and import the CSV information.

It messes me up to automatically import, how do I stop this? I don't want it to import transactions again, it needs to be manual.
