I personally think because of the lack of marketing towards the crypto crowd, the involved companies moving slowly and under NDA, the exchange listings pending while waiting for the production bridges, visibility pending while waiting for ICO's and dApps.

Coinmarketcap is notoriously slow for those tasks, but it won't affect aion's success. I believe in less than 1 year we'll see 10$ per coin again, all we need is a new spark (next consensus event, bitcoin etf, ...)

Hash power in blockchain is like firepower of a fortress. The more firepower a fortress has, the more capable it is defending its wall. Similarly, the more hash power a blockchain network possesses, the more capable it is defending its network from attackers, or “hacker”. Hash power is often measured in H/s ( hashes per second) or Sol/s (solutions per second). Every network consensus can be unique and depending on the hashing algorithm may not be directly comparable. For example, Ethereum uses ethash which is measured in H/s while ZCash uses equihash which is measured in Sol/s. To enable cross network comparison, we need to establish some common measurement unit.

Absolutely a solid project. AION is one of my bag holder, personally I'm also believing AION is your best bet if you're going to hold for two years. It's promising, that's why I've been invested in it, but for now looking forward for great returns.

it seems to me that for crypto currency it's a long time, I understand that the potential is great but technologies can seriously change and a new crypt will appear

Ofcourse there are no guarantees, but as technology evolves so will cryptos. Its like back when the dotcom bubble, tons of crap got flushed out but the good stuff went x250
