My favorite would be tetris, metal slug, and Lego island. When I was a kid, these games really curbed my imagination because back then, we can only afford to buy a PS1 and not toys. Still, they're tons of fun especially Lego Island. Tetris kind of helped my build up my spatial reasoning.

My all time favourite game is definetly warcraft 3. I still play it with my friends sometimes.
I also played Counter strike 1.6 for a long while back when I was in primary school. Back then I was hoping to become a proffessional gamer.
Also, the last but for sure not least game that I loved and I will always love is super mario bros. I remember playing it on my sega console ever since I was around 4 years old. Every day, when I got home from the kindergarden, I just plugged in my game and play that game with my best friend until the parents would stop us.

PC Games:
Quake III Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Mafia
Console Games: Banjo-Kazooie (N64) Mario Kart 64 (N64) Super Mario 64 (N64) Goldeneye (N64) Dragon Quest (Warrior) Series (NES/SNES/PS1/PS2 etc.) Sonic Adventure (DC) Power Stone (DC) Shenmue (DC) Sega Marine Fishing (DC)
Just to name a few. The Dreamcast was always a personal favorite and N64 just had an incredible amount of great games. The SNES was amazing too, gotta love those 16-bit graphics.

Mafia, Mario, you can still recall a few quest and logical, it was cool to play on pixels, inexpressibly, not like what is now in the game.
