Comparison with bitcoin is not bad, problem is we need to get it listed over the exchanges as soon as possible. I know it will done sooner or later but that will give a steroids to the coin in my honest opinion. Good to see Dev looks actively working on the coin.

I dunno maybe this question was asked before, but this is the first time I saw the thread and was a bit confused that Bitcoin on the EHT network and ERC20 standard, sounds very strange 
Besides, I guess now is era of airdrops, as more and more pop up..

Hmm, I can see my tokens in ethplorer, but when I log in to my MEW, I cant see EBTC tokens,
other tokens are visible.
What could be the problem?

MEW does not automatically recognize Coin .. you must add it ..

clicking "Add Custom Token"

in the Field "Address:" Enter: 0x2fd41f516fac94ed08e156f489f56ca3a80b04d0

Token Symbol: EBTC

Decimals: 8

click Save ...

then click Load Token Balances.

and you can see your Coins .. in MEW

There is no issue loading the page with average laptop/pc and good internet speed. Also when you set proper gas price trades get confirmed in a minute or less

I've been saying for a while someone should take advantage of that huge spread, if it was on Bittrex I'd have done it myself but I'm not comfortable enough with EtherDelta to avoid noob errors.

Ive made few noob mistakes yesterday....otherwise i would have even more coins and even more profit......but i had too much pending tx in etherdelta and whole thing was stucked untill all of them got confirmed..........but this is just beginning.....with proper support and responsible dev this project could be huge and easy to reach 1$+/token
