This is one big fuckin problem with slack I almost got hit by that spam bot I'm just lucky that I have the real myetherwallet bookmarked so I was surprise that the link the bot sent me do not have the bookmarked star I realized it is a faked site meant to steal your token.

True.. even I was almost taken by it. The bot sent a message and I almost clicked on it. But luckily I operate my wallet from my PC so logged in with that only to realize that the link on slack was spam.
It's a pinned tweet on Myetherwallet's twitter page.
I think we all should retweet it.

be careful from slackbot emails, they will spam your e-mail with MEW update or hard fork.


Just keep away from slack emails in general.

People, you need to be very careful when opening links from e-mail. It's your money so be extra careful. You wouldn't give anyone access to your physical wallet, would you?

Be aware of slack bot. We're all recieving spam messages about ethereum fork everyday. It includes a link to upgrade myetherwallet adress, but actually that's a trap to steal your privatekey.

The airdrop was really easy to cheat (didn't do that personally, but there were no good anti-cheat practices on use).
You could have easily used different VPN location and Ethereum address for nearly unlimited entries. Ethereum addresses can be generated many addresses quickly, and IP address is just few clicks.
However i would be surprised if there was no even ban for the same address to enter the airdrop for more than 1 time(s).

I did not receive my tokens either, the developer filtered out too many eligible users. Here is a response from him on the eBTC slack

There was an issue while filtering out duplicates before the airdrop and people who shouldn’t have been removed were removed.

I didn’t realize this until after the initial distribution, so then I gave away more than half of my holdings over the next 24 hours to people who experienced this.

The value of the token depend on demand and what unique features it have. I don't think dev will care about the price to tell others in chat. At the moment pretty hard to expect the rise while some people are dumping it hard.

Sounds great, but when better website, whitepaper, roadmap ? and when better, more popular exchange ? imo even coinexchange is better than etherdelta

I agree. coinexchange.io is easy to add. I do not know why it has not been added so far. After that, the price will surely jump.

After, need to go quickly to: Bitfinex, Binance, Liqui, Poloniex, Bittrex, HitBTC... then we go to the moon..

For binance and some, they'll probably go to the vote https://www.binance.com/vote.html  but I'm not worried there will not be in the top 5. and pass.

I've been in this coin since the start. Awesome dev, really active guy, the airdrop was fantastic. I will totally stick to this coin and see where it goes.
