I hope this gets added to some other small exchange. I will not be trading on ethtrader/etherdelta or whatever it's name is. Just a terrible experience. So until then, my 2500 eBTC are very safe.

You have to put more gas. EtherDelta default is 8 and that's too low when there is such volume... I have put it 21 and transaction took few minutes

Is there any way to change gas in EtherDelta once the deposit is pending??

1) Dev hasn't replied in 5 days.  He is busy selling off and pumping his 1 million EBTC as fast as possible that he reserved.

2) The guy with 60 airdrop addresses IS THE DEV HIMSELF OBVIOUSLY.  Airdropping to YOURSELF is a new way to scam people.  It takes 5 minutes to create 60 ETH addresses.

3) Can you guys not tell that this coin was propped up by boosted buy orders?  There are dozens of buy orders on Etherdelta that were higher than the lowest sell order (they don't fill automatically on Etherdelta).  This is the Dev trying to inflate the price.

If the gas limit is minimum thats the problem it will take several hours or days to confirm, mine took over 15 until now still pending because of congested blockchain.

EtherDelta is a seriously flawed exchange. If you try to buy, even though if it's pending and at the end cancelled, you still get CHARGED for gas.
This is simply ridiculous!
Transaction does not go through, you end up waiting for 10's of minutes even though the gas price is set at between 30-50, then you get an error, then you kiss your ETH goodbye with this stupendous ETH network!
Transaction fees are charged even though no transaction is made.
I'm starting to hate Ethereum and it's stupid network!

I am a software developer and when I had a look at the sourcecode of eBTCE I was sure that the dev can airdrop eBTCE forever.

But since I had no experience with coding Ether contracts I created a token with the sourcecode of eBTCE, just to be sure I didn't miss something and to proof that it's really a scam.

I took the sourcecode of eBTCE from here:

I changed the total supply to 10000 tokens and implemented a counter (the "distributed" variable, line 44 in the sourcecode) of the total airdropped tokens.

I then compiled and deployed this contract to the "ropsten" testnet and airdropped 5 times 2457 coins to a random address in the testnet.

The total supply sould be: 10000.00000000 coins
I airdropped 5x2457.19916000
distributed variable shows correct value: 5x2457.19916000=12285.99580000

The problem is, 12285.99580000 is bigger than the total supply of 10000.00000000...

As the owner of the "scam-proof-testtoken" I can now further airdrop as many times 2457.19916000 tokens as I want to whatever address I want. Forever.

Because of the missing balance checks in the distributeEBTC function there is NO limit (well, the GAS I have to pay for every 2457 eBTC airdrop)!

This is why it is a scam and it is unbelievable that in 2017 one can achieve a 15 million dollar major scam with only 8 lines of code, a design/website, 1h of work and within only a few days.
