Thanks that's a good question.

POS device offers an easier way for merchants to use (think people new to cryptocurrency), and buyers can take and swipe to make a purchase order, key in their password and then swipe again to confirm. Easy peasy!

But you are right inspiredinvestor, it can be done also via mobile device interaction, and we are also looking into it the sequence of introduction.

yea, believe they are already on the way to do beyond the POS device

they have launched pundi-pundi in Indonesia for a while, it allows user to transfer the money by scanning the other's qr code, in the same analogy, it is the matter of time, they will shift or doing this in parallel

Pundi X is highly integrate with or, even say so, based upon pundi-pundi. people (merchant and consumer) can store, buy, sell cryprocurrency in pundi-pundi

as mentioned on pundi X 's whitepaper, there are many advantages such as fast payment or transaction while users buy some goods in physical stores using their cryptocurrency. i think it is like a shortcut to pay in physical stores with cryptocurrency. it's the solution of problems that occur for cryptocurrency 's users who difficult to spend their cryptocurrency on physical stores.

While most use cases for current tokens are in the virtual and online world, we function in the physical world, where we help real daily users go to any merchant stalls nearby to purchase bitcoins with a swipe.

Our team of 30 is based in Jakarta and Shenzhen.

Pundi X focus in South East asia and Indonesia is their most important market. half of South East Asians are live in Indonesia.
they have a plan to spend 2 years to extensive coverage at convenience stores, mall, stores, cafe etc. so they want users to be able to use cryptocurrency in five meter radius.
after reaching their goals in Indonesia they will expand this project to another south east Asia countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and other regional market.
their paln is covering South East asia in 3 years. at the same time they will explore other part of Asia, America amd Europe using  agent partnership models
