It is the best wallet for storing erc20 tokens and all that concerns about ethereum, i use it to store all my coins and it works perfectly, and it is very easy to use, any newbie can use it and learn how to take advantages from it in less than 20 minutes of usage. And they do not store your private key on their website, you are the only one who has the keys, or the json, or anything else that you download to access your wallet.

Yes for me. I think that myetherwallet.com is safe . Because of its unique access . It's not a password like any other sites , it is a private key that will be given to you after you create an account. By the way be careful of the phishing site it is a scam by which an e-mail user is duped into revealing personal or confidential information which the scammer can use illicitly so be aware.

among the options to login, which one do you think is simple but still safe mate? I use private key to login in myetherwallet? but I'm quite unsure of its security? I'm afraid my private key is stolen by someone (hacker) see only need a private key to get into the wallet right?

I think the site is safe, but indeed be careful to not land on a fake site (happened to me once).
If you have big amounts to store than use a cold wallet

well we can't do nothing if the private key got stolen there's no way to avoid hackers to empty our wallets so its really advise to make sure that
we double check or like what MEW said to bookmark the site so you will not be tricked by a phishing website and for extra precaution better also
to double check before doing any action/

For beginners like me who are new to crypto, I think myether wallet is quite complicated to use because there we must save the id given from the wallet site and also the privacy key should always be remembered do not let us forget. By looking at how it works, I think myether wallet safe to use when id and our privacy key is unknown to others. When compared to token storage from the mobile version of the wallet, I think myether wallet web storage is best for storing tokens we have.

Try using the air gap, it is the best option especially when sending large amounts. this way you will never leave your private keys on a computer.

I think yes, myetherwallet.com is safe because of its unique access. This site doesn't use password to access instead they use a private key which is given to only you when you created your account. But always be careful because as of now, there are  person who will do their best to steal anything you own like this.

It's safe but its so easy to get phished on a web based wallet. I generally tend to avoid the hell out of anything browser related.

A lot of people already mentioned to bookmark the real site of myetherwallet. And the real site already verified. But they are losing their money caused by the phising never understand about that. And just take the paper wallet from myetherwallet should be considered as very safe place to safe our money in there.

I was always wondering  what  could  happen if  myetherwallet.com  website get hacked... so it's   better  to have the coins on  a   desktop wallet,  instead of  a  web wallet?
It's   a  question because  I a  little bit  afraid  of  web based  wallets

myetherwallet.com is safe and so far the best wallet to use for eth and it is mostly used by the members here on the forum who loves to join a bounty campaign that pays in altcoin or tokens but you have a point that it is prone to hacker and malwares because its online therefore if you want to safely secure your coins then you must store it in a offline wallet or cold storage to have a less risk of your coins being stolen.

myetherwallet.com is a safe website, the vulnerability depends upon the user as if he is careless or  unaware about the malicious activity of a hacker like phishing and website front-end cloning, then the user is easier to hack.Their are hackers that are asking for your account or private key for MEW pretending that they are support personnel and doing alibis like email verification, passwords or some others are sending files for key logger that can monitor your pc activity.Be vigilant and always keep updated your internet security anti-virus or malware protection. Always see to it that your myetherwallet.com appears exactly below this sample image.

MyEtherWallet itself if safe, but watchout for phishing sites that look like MEW. There are more and more scammers who ask for your private keys/wants you to login through their phishing slack, so be sure to pay attention, especially on slack channels.

I agree with you I've receiving a lot of notification to login from a bogus myetherwallet slack bot has a lot of this this is the reason I stopped  using slack they are spam fest and cannot be trusted and also be sure to bookmark the real myetherwallet.

myetherwallet.com is quite safe. But be aware of fake domain names. There are tons of hacking attempt when it comes to mytherwallet. You'll get mails, slack notification etc to check you funds in wallet. Never do that. Mytherwallet never asks for anything through mails or slack. People get hack because of themselves and their stupidity. Always be cautious when it comes to your money be it exchanges or wallets.
