bustadice – Next Generation Dice

Dudes, i lost almost 2300 bits two days back and obviously that is not a big amount but this was my first time playing in bustadice. Tried with number of bits with number of targets but nothing worked out. But only one things kept consoling me is 1.01 target with 1 bit. Every time i tried, i own .01 bit, but it really swallowed my time. Hence i left out. What is the best time to play with how many bits with how many targets? Is it the right place ask this? I am sorry if this is not the right place to ask.

It dice games its all about luck,all timing is perfect to play in the gambling sites.If you keep losing in the bets ty to change the random numbers in target multiplier that is how I play and worked for me few times and lost many times.

I don't know if this can be called "strategy" but dice games offer very low payout so you can try to stretch your games by playing a little to gain some small % profit, and keep using that % to bet on low payout/high chance, so you increase wagering amounts.

For example, my favourite is to have about 0.001 BTC and I use auto to bet 1 satoshi at 50% martingale. I never bust this way since I stop after getting about 5k to 10k satoshi. Then I use that 5k satoshi to bet 100 satoshi or so on lowest payout til it busts, keep doing. Of course it is a very slow way of doing things but I gain some levels at some sites and access bigger faucets, for example. At sites like CGN if you're lucky you also hit the jackpot while doing this.

Like you said, this is a dice game so it is all depends on your luck. Whenever you called it a quit then you should quit it for sure, in the long term you will always lose all your entire balance no matter what.

Strategy like you said is not really recommended because first, some of the site has minimal bet to get into the event or may be it is just not worth of your time doing it. How can you bet by using 1 satoshi? Although you get profit, it is not worth of your time here. You should consider at least gaining 10% of your balance, this is usually what I played

Since this is dice game,where no strategy involved and simply your luck decides your winning percentage.As you said the amount you lost is not huge so you no need to worry about anything maybe you can increase the chance of winning by decreasing multipliers but still no way to make assured win.Just keep on trying you will win soon.

Actually it comes from another site called bustabit. It is actually bust-a-bit which actually means losing money IMO, well gambling is actually losing some money ( atleast in some sense ) . So this site is called bustadice because it only offer dice game

an interesting strat,but it works only if you do not get huge streaks
even on 1 sat 50% can bust you easily,100k is not a big balance to be insured against this
think it is easier to just roll 1000 sat on a 1.01x multiplier with 10-50x increase on loss,this way you wager at least 50-100 times your 100k
as it takes three losses in a row on 1.01x which is pretty rare
of course, the strat will eventually bust your bank as it is not sustainable

That's still a small part of their 15k BTC weekly wagered amount, but damn that's a huge loss. It must be like crazy there with high rollers. I've seldom seen such a high weekly volume from a single site before.

That's still a small part of their 15k BTC weekly wagered amount, but damn that's a huge loss. It must be like crazy there with high rollers. I've seldom seen such a high weekly volume from a single site before.

Wow,that is a huge turn over for a week,and it feels happy to be a part of their signature campaign.

I have had no reason to post about it much, but as many of you know I have been acting as bustadice's "auditor" which allows me to offer reasonably strong guarantees to investors (assuming they trust me to not be malicious) by verifying bets/wins and having one of the multisig keys to the cold wallet to approve the movement there.  During this time I can confidently say that there's been no funny-business with bustadice, and can attest to investors being treated fairly.

Anyway, some of you might have noticed a brief outage of bustadice on August 8th. The cause was actually my fault, as my audit server went down (it's on the critical path for a bet, as bustadice itself can't figure out the result of a bet without it).  I can now confidently diagnose the cause as a hardware failure, and as a result I lost a few seconds of logs. (To keep latency low, the audit server will give the requested data to bustadice before it has guaranteed the logs are persisted/flushed to disk)

But to be clear, it's an extremely minor issue. This has no impact on players or investors, it just means there's a handful of bets in which I can not audit for investors, however none of the bets are a significant size (we're talking less than a few hundred dollars).  I am mainly just posting this to try offer total transparency. I was originally planning on calculating the exact amount of the worst-case audit mismatch and paying that out to investors (on account of it being such a small amount) but I have decided against it as  a) It would create precedent that would confuse my role as auditor with something more akin to "insurance" and b) the cause of the failure was hardware related, I believe it would've been almost impossible to predict or abuse.

And not to mention, investors are doing great! Up a staggering 474.2 BTC (3% more than expected value!)

I'm considering investing in Bustadice. However, I wonder why Bustadice and Bustabit bankrolls aren't shared, considering that now the owner is the same. What's the point of making investors deposit on both places (therefore reducing their expected returns approximately in half) when they could be safely combined in one, while allowing players to have the same max bet (actually max bets would be bigger as some people currently investing in both bankrolls could just invest everything in one).

One of the reasons might be that some people prefer having more provably fair investing (with Ryan and the audit server on bustadice) so they want to solely invest in bustadice. It would be nice to have some easy method of transferring between the two sites though.

Leverage on both sites also allow you to not cut your expected returns in half. You could invest with 2x leverage on both sites, and match your full expected returns.

And not to mention, investors are doing great! Up a staggering 474.2 BTC (3% more than expected value!)
