Here you are example of 3 bets where multipliers are not consistent with verify page:

Your client seed is "aAu5dgh6frelia aZerfchf5hso aShig5dski " (with a space character at the end) rather than "aAu5dgh6frelia aZerfchf5hso aShig5dski". All of your bets can be verified correctly with the right client seed.

PS, ideally spaces wouldn't be allowed in clientseed so there is no such confusion.

I'll have to give it some more thought, but you're most likely right about that.

Jesus Christ every time I see devans responding the way he does I feel like Rhavar found a proper person to continue his legacy. Just marvelous mate. You could not purchase a better PR yourself with all the money you make that would help you out more than how you present yourself. There is no PR that is more valuable than just being a straight up decent owner.

You didn't went full at it you didn't shame anyone, you just showed the mistake and how it could be checked and you even "accepted" some sort of fault for UX which you really didn't had to at all. This is why I love bustabit, dice has never been more favorite game so I haven't checked this topic ever and the first time I come here this is what I see.

I have a question that perhaps someone here can help me with?

I invested 2 BTC on bustadice a while ago, with the 5x leverage option, so basically I had 1.96 BTC "onsite" and ~7.8 BTC "offsite".

The investment has been profitable and so now I have ~3 BTC "onsite" and still ~7.8 BTC "offsite".

When I try to de-invest .5 BTC from my "onsite" balance bustadice keeps returning an error message: "That would cause you to become overleveraged. Decrease your offsite investment first.", however the amount of BTC I'm leaving onsite after de-investing .5 (~2.5) is still more than enough by far to cover the leverage ... am I missing something here?

AFAIK the "max leverage ratio" was lowered once, so that could cause an error for you now.

A leverage of up to 3:1 is supported, which means that Ƀ 1 invested onsite can support up to Ƀ 2 offsite for a total of Ƀ 3 invested.

hi NlNico iwas reading an old post on provably fair dice and tried to send you a message regarding faucethubs rambo dice to find out if its ever been verified because i can verify the rolled numbers with the hashed server seed they supply but when i try to verify the hashed seed using the sha system i think it was i cant get the hashed numbers to match up what faucethub shows is way different than what the sha system is showing and alot of people have been noticing loss/win ratio has exceedingly rose to definitely being almost purely to the house anyway was hoping to find out if anybody has ever verified that site as its run by mexicantarget who obviously ran a bitcoin gaming site while back that folded up any way i appreciate any response thank you so much happy trails

Nah, it's very unlikely. If it was a competitor spreading bullshit, they'd just make up an outright lie (e.g. "I tried to withdraw 3 btc, so the admin just deleted my account and won't respond to my messages!") and turn it into a confusing mess.

I think most likely the person was playing and hit some really bad luck. Possibly crazy bad luck. When it happens to you, it's pretty hard to believe and it's pretty natural to think you're getting cheated. It's happened to me before, like martingaling and hit like 7 loses in a row. wtf? Stop and make some dust bets and everything looks normal, and continue and just get punished again. Fortunately I know enough about crypto and maths to be able to verify bets and check if I was unlucky or cheated, but I realize that very few people do so (or are able to).

So @zaketej  I'd recommend sending a message to support (bustadice.com/support) and ask for help with how to verify your bets (although to robustly do so, you'll need to have recorded the server-seed-hash/your-client-seed before starting). It won't help get your money back, but it might give you some peace of mind knowing you weren't cheated.

(Disclaimer: I'm currently acting an auditor of bustadice, and can cryptographically verify the bet-results. However it's only really got decent guarantees for investors, for players they are much better off verifying their own bets. It's also only a useful service if you believe I'm independent from Daniel, which while true, I wouldn't blame anyone for doubting... But fortunately players can trustlessly verify their own bets )

Important: There is no guarantee to investors on provably fair sites because the owner can still play within the rules and "beat you fairly".  These sites are only proveably fair to players... NOT investors, it isn't possible to prove.  Unless I'm outside on something new.
