If you are looking at numbers,check back the numbers when the price of bitcoin started to increase in 2013 ,from below $100 it jumped to over $1000 in a short period of time ,so do not compare these sort of burst from a short period of time,just image the over all potential of bitcoin and Ethereum, you could clearly understand that the potential of bitcoin is far bigger than any other currency and i am not here to call Ethereum a currency in the first place, so hope you understand the reality and who has the potential.

Yeah you are right and the use of the bitcoin and the money is totally different because of the different prices and the values. For me the bitcoin currency is more than enough because for the users it has the more value and the more prices, bitcoin is the only one currency that can give you bright future and the sources of the income.

For long term investment I would go with BTC, I am not too much of a fan of ETH.

Me too, I'm not that really a fan of ETH but I'm a holder of it but when it comes to this thing I would definitely say that bitcoin is the best. No other alt coin can have it's success now and Eth is just keep on creating nonsense ICOs that makes it's reputation bad now but it's not that really bad though because it's just all about making money and it has something in that potential. But when it comes to projects and future, bitcoin has it.

Same with me here, eth was only my trading gateway to bitcoin but in exact phase of earnings I really chooses bitcoin. Bitcoin stability really been doing such promising and fast rising price to have a reliable and valuable assets of investments. So most of the investors were now thinking wide idea about it's potential increase with a limitless capability of aiming huge value.

It's true, bitcoin's movement is real quick and that's why if someone is going to argue with me personally about eth and bitcoin. I'll choose bitcoin without any explanation, though it is not happening to me. The big chance of making profit in bitcoin is there and the time that you'll invest on it, you'll see on how much you can make for even a day or a week.

Bitcoin offers a peer-to-peer electronic money system for Bitcoin payments or transfers, recorded on the blockchain. Etherium is only good for short term investment. So I think Bitcoin still, is better compared to Etherium. The thing that has the most promising future is still Bitcoin. It has a larger market value, community and demand. So I think that would be good in the future since it is good for long term investments.

The proposed fork on ethereum should improve its value but ethereum has seen to be competing for bitcoin position while bitcoin is comfortable leading in value. Most of leading role ethereum are is stil being proposed for the future. Other functions of ethereum could give the value strength.

When i chose whose most promising cryptocurrency in the future between bitcoin and etherium,i chose bitcoin,why because all alternating coins like bull coin ,etherium,etc.are only next in line to the bitcoin,it is the no.1 in the blackchain and in terms of value its higher than the others,and lastly in terms changes the value into fiat money etherium will passing through  by trading into bitcoin in e-cex before  it become fiat .bitcoin only aknowledgeable into our own currency not like  all alternating coins.

You can't just focus on price to try to decide which one is better. I think you need to focus on functionality, and bitcoin and ethereum have different objectives and are not really competing right now. The way I see it, ethererum is completely focused on ICO's and it works more like a big crowdfunding platform. I think most of the ethereum transaction are made by people funding ICOs created in the network. Bitcoin doesn't really allow that, and works more like a way to store value, so it's more like an investment on itself. It's also a great way to make a transaction, at least of high values.
I think BTC will work better as a currency or a way so store value, and that's where the big investors like to put their money on.

As for the network itself, it's said that ethererum still holds some bugs, and that it might have problems again in the future. I can't really talk about that, but I feel I can trust bitcoin more.

Bitcoin will still win over Ethereum. The rice is not the only proof for this, the number of users of bitcoin is far more large than those of ethereum and this users are what move the market. This is an apples apples and oranges question, unless you are comparing purely the price appreciation factor. Bitcoin is likely IMO to be the dominant player as far as price goes, it is and will be the gold standard.

Ethereum is interesting in a different way, it has additional functionality that is unlikely to make its way into Bitcoin, as such it allows people to create independent tokens without splitting the chain.

I agree to you that this two cryptocurrency is both worthy when it comes to investing your Fiat money in it as this two is the top 2 contender in the market cap for more than a year now. Even though they have different price range as of now but investing with them in the long run will surely beneficial, it is just a matter of time till this two coin will reach above 1 trillion dollars combine market cap.

Although Ethereum is also a good altcoin with great potential but I think in next 10 years Ethereum can't beat Bitcoin price and stand at the 1st place cause it's a long way to go from 300$ to more than 4000$. In the future when Ethereum can get to 4k$ maybe Bitcoin has increased to 10k$ so it's really hard to beat the 1st place of Bitcoin but maybe everything will be different when the total amount of Bitcoin all over the world mined out.

Both of them are good because each has high potential. It's hard to compare because they are unique and special in a different way. We commonly use ethereum for trading, and bitcoin for investment and for other transactions. Both are good investment because they are profitable in the long-run.

both have privileges. that's why bitcoin remains superior and eth can appear free to leave other allcoin. eth will have a bright future, as happened to the first bitcoin first there. this is a tremendous investment. i like both.

in my opinion, bitcoin will still be the best. well, bitcoin is the first coin that emerges and the technology that diusungnya really good. The best altcoin, let's call it eth has its advantages, but the first one appears usually very hard to replaced.
