I don't think that will happen, even now I heard that the government already throwing accusations about bitcoin so I doubt that it will replace fiat. If they work on replacing fiat to bitcoin I know for sure that it will be hard to do.
Maybe in the future. We never know what will happen in the future, but i know digital currency can also used now in any payment or transferring money. And maybe some of digital currency can use in daily expenses, while the fiat is can also use because this is the money that government issued.

eventually the digital form of money will increase it's presence over time so to replace the current ones.
The distinguish from fiat though makes me wonder
what difference from fiat has a digital currency that is issued by you or me (ie alt coins) that just set a fixed number somewhere in a code (ie 21 million or 500million). from my perspective, none. they are both fiat in different forms

I know it may not be possible right now, but do you think fiat will be gone in the future?
if it is lost entirely it is not possible, because in the interaction there must be an exchange process, so cash money will definitely be needed and will not disappear from the market but may not dominate again Exactly, also beacuase digital currency was not accepted by the governmenr it has many things to be consider first before it defeated the fiat. Even though it has a high value than fiat still it cant replaced it. Not all people in the world doesnt know what digital currency too. Fiat was control by the government and with the support by the law compare to digital currency that was only exist in the virtual world and many people control it.

I don't. one reason is that fiat or regular currencies are supported by the different governments of different countries so for sure, it will be more favored for the countries since Bitcoin is decentralize meaning, it is not under any form of government. So in the future I believe that cash will be still used.

it is true that most countries for now bitcoin is still illegal, because it can not be controlled by the government, but we do not know how to the future, because the development of the world of crypto is getting better and attract many investors to join. I can not judge it, but let's see together how it develops for the future

No I think it's possible to completely replace fiat with digital currency, but the government will create it's own digital currency to use, not bitcoin and in the end it will still centralized. If you're talking about bitcoin, then it's impossible to replace fiat as no government will want that to happen.

I dont think so. Fiat currencies are regulated by financial institutions and government. It is where our taxes are based on what we buy. It is also a way of government to track the illegal and suspicious activities that includes money. Big amounts of money which do not reflect one’s lifelstyle is being monitored Anti Money Laundering Council by which ceyptocurrency specially bitcoin is impossible to do. Being anonymous in transaction online has its advantage and disadvantage. But I believe that digital and fiat currency will exist side by side in our society in which they have their own purpose and usage.

Maybe, Remember were using modern technology so there is a possible chance to replace fiat to digital currencies and if government from all country would legalize Bitcoin. Most rich people want to use digital currencies to hide their identity but the disadvantage is government cannot track transaction if you used it for fraud or other illegal purpose

Yes i believe that in the future cryprocurrency will exchange the fiat money today. Because as we all know crypto is very fast and smooth transaction that provides less time and effort . It could be nice if we will live in a high tech world.

I think there is a possibility that fiat can be replaced by digital currencies but it will take time since many people around the world are using fiat money as a payment rather than using bitcoin. I think that if it will be replaced, each country will make its own crypto coin that will be using in their country.

maybe in next few centuries, it will be a reality, but for near future, digital money and fiat money both will rule. there are many countries who won't be able to embrace the digital currency faster and they will need time.

For the growth population as well for the growth happening around the globe advancement is a must. Upon the necessity cryptocurrency is a must thing, but the same will never make a change in the usage of fiat which is used around the globe. Right now the global usage of bitcoin might be around 5% which is very small, so to replace fiat it needs to travel for a longer time period.

Is Bitcoin finally stooped growing lol Great ride these days. Fiat currencies will be transferred into blockchain or just simply die. Currencies will become our new payment system in everyday life.

In my opinion, I think that maybe digital currency will replace the fiat money but it may take a long time to be approved, because it takes more valid reasonings why they need to replace the fiat money into digital currency. Fiat money is also been regulated by the government agency while the bitcoin and other digital currency are not held by the government. Meaning the possible of replacing the fiat over digital currency is somehow 50%.

We all wait for day where technology will be so advance that thw world would be dependent into it. There would be time that cryptocurrency would be the most efficient form of money. With the rate of globalization, this remaining decades of the century would be critical to our future state. Cryptocurrency would play a major role in that economy and uniting the world with one currency only.

It can't replace fiat money. It will be hard for all of us if our world turned into a cashless society. Not all of us are capable of using the internet, let alone that they don't have gadgets to use and are now really aware of bitcoin. We've been using fiat money for centuries so it should not be replaced by digital currencies. Also, the government will not let this happen, they don't have control over this one so they do anything to prevent this.

in the future fiat money will surely be replaced by by digital currencies because modern society need everything fast convinient but also secure in all activities such as buying and selling, so digital currencies a good candidate to replace fiat money now, despite they still have advantages now but surely oneday not far from here they will defeat fiat money.
