Rupee team is thinking of moving to Equihash Algorihm so that every person in the world with a PC and GPU can mine Rupee, not the people only with ASIC.

Hi , that does sound encouraging . . unfortunately Google Chrome OS cannot open Telegram so i have to follow the chat on Reddit . . . i bought some RUP in early November , the price has just dropped since then . . . i've got my RUP on an exchange , has there been any talk on that virus warning on the Windows wallet . ? . . . thanks .

I also have the same issue and am a little unsettled that nobody has responded publicly about this.

I bought some via exchange and transferred to a paper wallet.
I wanted to download the QT from the main website & transfer locally but Chrome is warning me there is a virus so won't allow me to proceed with download, I read elsewhere that Norton also flags this as a trojan.


Dev team - please can you review this as at best, this will put some investors off, at worst it, may well be a trojan that affects users.

Looking forward to a response and look forward to buying more once we get a safe wallet.

Since when Yobit has Rupee wallet under maintenance, I have some rupee coins there, went to withdraw it but it is not possible.
Does anyone know what is going on there and since when this is going on on Yobit?

Rup is after $100B/year money transfering market to South Asia (India, Pakistan, Indonesia etc) to local relatives where the bank fees reach up to 10-15% so there is clearly a need for a better solution and RUP is already offering that. Lot of possibilities in the local economy as well. Rupee is a historically well known word or even brand for 1,8b people.

Some parts of the project smell a bit fishy but so do most projects. With 15m mcap currently going after 100b market, there is clearly a lot of upside in current optimistic markets.  If they manage to capture 1% of the market that would be 65x upside from here. Currently it is still undiscovered trading in some of the smaller exchanges. Lot of potential to be discovered.

I have about 5% of my portfolio in RUP, let's go!
