According to what i've known, the president has broad powers to manage national affairs and the priorities of the government. The president can issue rules, regulations, and instructions called executive orders, which have the binding force of law.
When the government issues a policy, then as citizens we must follow and support the policy

Of course I do, since I was young this is the first time that I feel like we are given importance by the government because we have the best president we ever had.

do you think they told you the truth about the condition of your country?

i dont believe in our country's government. because our laws is manipulated by corrupt officials in the government. our judicial system here is swayed by money. people who is poor dont have capability to protect themselves to the laws while rich people can pay to the officials of the government in order to protect themselves even they are the criminals that need to be imprison. justice here is blind.. and not equal. i hope one day this system will change. those who have power always abuse their power in order for them to have more money and to retain their positons.

I believe the government is a joke. The government is increasingly corrupt and fragmented.

No truth is told by any government because if truth is told, the government will fall as others will take advantage of the messy situation by lying that they can make it better and worse people will believe them! People are in a state of matrix (the movie) where they want to believe they are happy and their lives have improved compared to the year before and the governments want to perpetuate this thinking, simply because there is no way they will want to lose power Tongue Tongue Tongue

Yes I beleive, but much less now than before. A truly responsible citizen like me listens carefully and dispassionately analyzes what  is being told by both those in Government and those in opposition, then acts in accordance with the most rational conclusion as to what the truth is. This is very difficult, and, sadly, there is very little of it actually done.

Here in our country, we vote for our government (democratic government), and since I'm part of the voting, I have no choice but to believe in who I voted. All governments are corrupt. There may have been problems and conflicts caused by the government, but as a citizen, we should correct their mistakes and remember our citizen rights.

Not at all. Since this government took power, my country seems to have entered some 30 years ago. Even if my country is a democratic one, it seems that we have returned to communism. A corrupt country where the government gives laws for it and not for the sake of leading the country for good.

I really don't believe in my government. Most governments around the world are not honest with their people.

In fact, they are the most corrupt people, hiding a lot of things.

I think it is probably a fact that every government in every country hides some information from their citizens and does not always act in their best interests. However I would rather have a government who does that but still manages to accomplish many things than live in a world of anarchy.

Whether they do not tell the truth, as long as they are trying to fix our country's problem. And I do not care. Sometimes, it is better not to tell the truth in public to avoid panic to some people. Because some people are just overreacting and accused you into something they do not have proof.

It's strange but people here have stopped caring about who's government there is and what they are doing. I bet majority of people won't know the name of prime-minister.
