In my opinion the most potential altcoin is ETH, then others like DASH, LTC,Waves and XMR. These altcoin has good in fundamental, aim of the project is interesting, solid team founder and developer so that increase the demand.
as i can see that coins you provided would be the best coin to hold for altcoin section eth, dash waves and so on these coin will be the next big coin and as of now we see their chances on how it will be for the near future.

If you want to hold altcoin for the 2-3 years then I suggests you to hold etherum..because nowadays it rate increased too much and in future it will also increase. And  I also suggests you to invest in LTC.And nowadays ATC coin is the best for investment. ATC coin is cryptocurrency of India.I also suggest you to invest in it.

Hey guys, I wanna hold some alts for 2-3 years. Can you advise me some? I am thinking about Bitquance, XVG, OMG, NEO....anything else?
Altcoin holding for 2-3 years or more are no doubt very good investment. There are many good coins to hold for future, some of them selected and mentioned are very good. But do not invest all your money single time. Break up total investment in 3 to 4 segment and buy when there is down in market.
Good Luck to you.

I am currently holding bitcoins, because I think that in a few years the course will rise and then I will be able to enrich even more. I do not know if I'm doing well, because I risk a lot, but we'll see what happens. What do you think about it?

It depends on market we can't hold most of the altcoins for longterm. But some coins has really good potential. We think that will be profitable in longterm. but I beleive in  XVG, Deeponion, ripple, Stratis, Snm & waves can be more profitable in holding. but before holding any altcoin do proper research about that coin.

You do not know the risk you can get while you are holding your Bitcoin, so why do you need to hold it? What is the reason make you want to hold it as now? Before you invest into Bitcoin, do you have not any question about this issue? This is the question for yourself, if you can not find the answer, I strongly recommend sell all your Bitcoin.

There are many good altcoins in the market which can be purchased and if already in your portfolio can be hold for long term. Dash, XRP, ETH, WAVES, Stratis, DeepOnion and XMR can be hold for long term to get better earnings. Everyone has its own choice as per his risk component as crypto currencies are highly volatile.

Bitquence is pumped mate, I never buy it. Already made 20x or so.

Waves is good for 2-3 year long investments. It's under development and they're working with russian government.

Ethereum is good as well. It can be $1.000 next years.

Yeah i feel it too , maybe Eth will good for altcoin holding , i cant predict the future price but i know eth always raising.
But now Eth its not stable price , maybe decrease and increase , but i believe eth will be good altcoin on future  Cheesy

If I had to hold something for 2-3 years without any possibility of selling I would make these considerations:

1. Only invest a very small amount. New more promising projects will definatly come around and I would rather wait for those.

2. A lot of coins/tokens/projects will be dead and abandoned in 2-3 years. How likely is it that the project will be replaced by something more "shiny"?

3. Because of 2, I would look for projects that have already survived for years, that still are under active development, but with a small marketcap.

Peercoin is a good candidate for this kind of, "buy and forget", investing.

I bought waves, SALT, Ethereum, bitcoin, deeponion, minereum and storj.  I will hold half of them for a year and trade half of them every now and then to miximize the ups and down of the market.  I will be adding Omisego, NEO and IOTA and hold them for atleast 1 year.  But if I see some chances that I can day trade them, I will.

You might want to check on RISECOIN. I already bought some and the value is pumping! It also has it's wallet. I know it's gonna be huge, and also it has a very good support.

Definitely ethereum and litecoin. Both coins are well known, have good and active development teams who are working on it and have the potential to grow further. This year both ETH and LTC have had a very nice rise and chanches are high that this trend will continue for the next 2-3 years.

BIG WINNER!

ETH and BTC is sure the best for long term especially ETH ,it like petroleum. And ICO are like  cars to I, they will always need gas, because majority are on the network,.
You can also get good ICO for short term hold like, 6 month and 1 year

For long term hold you need to think of coins with strong fundamentals and a good dev team behind them. I would recommend:

1) eth
2) omg
3) lisk
