Gold in general is no better. The value of gold is nothing more than a result of a global consensus - at the moment everyone agrees to consider gold a measure of value, simply because this measure is in some form or another necessary. If we assume a utopian situation, that tomorrow everyone agrees that gold is not such a measure, then it will be good only for the production of quality wires and trinkets. The btc is gaining momentum for exactly the same reason - the global consensus towards the btc is constantly being strengthened. In this case, unlike gold, the cue-ball is not only a measure of value, but also a settlement system, and gold is not a competitor for this parameter.
Though I like bitcoin but still I can distinguish between the two. Gold is deeply rooted in our life and the worth of it will never be less. People including me will continue to take it as our precious metal and this cannot be replaced.

I do not think it will happen, gold and bitcoin are two different forms of investment. not everyone can technology, not everyone likes and willing to learn internet technology. of course they would prefer gold investment.

Bitcoin can never replace gold nor gold replace bitcoin.. these two are distinctively different yet similar in asset.. gold is gold we know gold from decade it never changes and its value still the same because of its feature..it has its own right and its like gold is tangible while bitcoin is intangible..bitcoin on the other hand is also valuable in virtual sense that's what I understand about it.

gold was used a long time ago for make payments, bitcoin is a tool designed to make payments. Bitcoin will be replaced by some other technology, but gold will be there for the long-term future.

Bitcoin has already replaced gold.Gold is very stable so the rise in its price is almost nil or very less.On the other hand bitcoin's value is very volatile so it can rise anytime to any extent.Though bitcoin is risky but still more and more people are into bitcoin now a days.Bitcoin gives huge profit rates and that too in a short period of time.It is the number one cryotocurrency and has left everything behind.Bitcoin is also very easy to store and you can store any amount of bitcoins in the bitcoin wallet.

I can not give too much of a chance. There is a certain amount of gold in our world. If we look at the duration of the episode we have to wait millions of years. So gold is more precious in my eyes.
Coin is completely human product. If there is no human being, he will not.

I read somewhere: The vacuum cleaner never has replaced a broom. I think you can apply this analogy (partly) to bitcoin, gold (and fiat).

No, i dont think so, bitcoins price is not yet stable, you cant use it without internet access, while gold is still precious one, even how many years pasts by, its value will not drop, and you can touch and hold it.

That is not gonna happen ever. Gold is a real thing with a real value. We can use gold for many things. Whereas bitcoin is just a currency which can lose its value anytime in future. I agree that right now, bitcoin is much more profitable investment than gold. But it can't replace gold ever.

It's very hard, but i'm sure the bitcoin will replace gold instead. Let's support for bitcoin in the future. The more investors in bitcoin i'm sure bitcoin will soar in the future. Good luck investing in bitcoin.

Yes, I think that bitcoin can replace gold. Bitcoin is a unique technology, and gold is just an expensive metal. Bitcoin is more promising than gold.

I think bitcoin will not replace gold. They are both important and precious with different value. Bitcoin is a digital currency that we used as payment method, we cannot get it from gold. We cannot compare the two because they are different in terms of usage.

There is no point in even comparing these two financial assets. Only those who want to save their money from inflation invest in gold.

Gold will be hard to replace with anything including bitcoin, I'm sure even though bitcoin is legalized by all countries then gold will continue to be used and become the first choice of investment, this is because gold has a physical form, can be seen, accepted by anyone and anywhere.

If you consider in terms of transaction, currency, etc., then i'm with Bitcoin but if you consider a real world asset which has definite value, doesn't fluctuate a lot then I would go with gold. It's just my opinion though.

Bitcoin and gold are very different things. Gold is metal, and bitcoin is a unique technology that did not exist before. Bitcoin is much more promising than gold.

I also like bitcoin and prefer it to gold. Because I want more profit and I am risking. There is also the probability of losing money. I don't think bitcoin is more promising than gold. Better to say bitcoin can be more profitable but it is more risky.

Bitcoin is a fashionable, ultra-modern way to invest, but it is unlikely that it will be able to replace gold once. We always have more confidence in what can be touched, in what is material. And that's why gold will always be in a better position than bitcoin.
