Humans may have totally over taken the planet earth but that doesn't means that we are the owners of this planet. Being the most intelligent species comes with responsibilities. We have urbanized this planet. n other words we have destroyed the home of many species. Biodiversity is way more important for our survival than we realize.  We should let other live if not for them but ourselves.

We may not be the owners, but we certainly have become the "Sheppards" of the planet. I agree, we do have a responsibility to not utter and totally destroy it.

Try telling this to most of the people living on this planet. They will look at you like you are the crazy one and that this world is theirs for the taking. Sometimes the level of entitlement among us humans is down right

disgusting. Keep spreading the message and I will too. One person at a time we will slowly change this planet and we will one day take good care of it. I have faith we will live in a happier, lighter world.

Humans should be more wise in how they treat the planet and all the species inhabiting it. We have indeed destroyed the home of many species, but these destructive tendencies are in our nature. Earth, how much as we mistreat it will do fine and humans can't last forever on this sphere.

I think in the future we will learn and focus more on how to live in harmony, we have been in a survival mode for very long and we are slowly moving away from a survival mode into a more harmonious way of living. Accumulation, money, idea-ology's; they aren't satisfying.

yes, I agree with your opinion, we must preserve this earth for the life of the next generation, including all the animals and plants remain in their habitat.
there are already many world organizations that deal with this ecosystem problem but still can not handle this problem well.
Going green is easier than you think. I see only a slight impact on this Go Green movement. Perhaps not everyone does GoGreen in their own environment, these are some GoGreen steps: In that spirit, came up with 10 things you can do to help save the Earth.
Pay attention to how you use water. Leave your car at home, Walk or ride your bike to work, school and anywhere you can. Recycle, you can help reduce pollution just by putting that soda can in a different bin. Compost, think about how much trash you make in a year. I don't think everyone can do those steps.

I love your point about the loss of biodiversity. we must learn to live harmoniously with other organisms. We don't know when they will become important or be of help to our existence.

its is absolutely right nothing is our everything created and owned by some powerful creator we just here for few days but sometime we forget that for few fame and profit we divided for more benefits. we should think every one and everything only for betterment of planet instead of destroying... before leaving from this planet we should left something for new generation ...

I don't agree with the point that humans are going towards more harmonious ways of living. Though we have realized that we have not been on right path but it doesn't seem like we are willing to change our course. Humans are so lethal that they will make earth perish along with them. Violence is increasing day by day. There doesn't seems to be a way to put an end to it. Power and money has totally blinded our eyes as well as mind.

Humanity is acting like a virus on the planet, consuming all the resources and killing off certain areas. The host will eventually run out of the ability to heal itself and the balance could be tipped quite quickly. If the atmosphere is eroded, eventually it will disappear and the sun will end up frying the planet. The population is simply growing too much, a war or natural disaster will cause our downfall.

It belongs to the future ..

So it's our duty to make sure there is a future for the future ..
Earth as a future but we humans will not if we carry on with the path we lead ..

UNIVERSAL INCOME for all humans rich and poor get it till we die..
A starting point to spend to LIVE you will not be given enough to buy cars and boats and have a holiday every weekend just enough to feed clothe and put a roof over your head plus healthcare is free if your SICK..

The rest you can privatise and do what ever you like but all humans will have a starting point to
LIVE..

A UNIVERSAL INCOME for all rich and poor everyone will get that starting point to live when they reach 18 years old a UNIVERSAL INCOME no matter how rich you are and only 2 children per family
and you will not be able to cheat because your DNA is on a data base and man or woman has anymore the data base will know through your DNA..

It will keep the population down plus if the planet needs more because to many have got old we can have a breeding cycle where in certain times we pay for 4 children per family and the planet will know this is to keep the population stable so no one will moan..

When people do well they become more caring for the planet they live in ..
when people do bad some just don't care what the planet feels because they feel like dying..

So believe me this planet will be so much better..

And also no it want make people lazy because why do people who make money why don't they
stop making money..

It's a TOTAL LIE saying a universal income will make people lazy BULLSHIT..
People are not lazy they will want to make more and have the good feel factor that life is alright
without the struggle that life brings that then goes on to make people do bad things..

yes, human where the stewardess of this earth, but more of us don't know the importance of this planet. All they want is to built and built, destroy all the sources for the human consumption but they didn't replace what they got from the environment. Humans already jeopardize the planet, what will happen to the next generation. The next generation will not see the beauty of the planet but the trash, the pollution, the hazardous environment if we continue those bad habits. We should replace all we destroyed, and don't destroy the things that we cannot replace. Am I right?

If nature is as harsh as we say she is, then at some point whatever we do in this planet , maybe not in our lifetime, nature will lash back. It's the way to balance out nature. We don't actually own anything, we co-habitate with other species.

We are caretakers I believe and it seems that as caretakes we have not been doing a good job of taking care of it along woth its other tenants. Are hunger for greed power and money have caused a lot of destruction and have caused irreparable damages and who can say what will happen if our home is suddenly taken away from us?

Therefore, we are the caretaker of this world, all God's created by His hand and was endorsed to us to take care of each creations such as trees in the mountains, creatures in the, animals everything that God's hand made we should take care all of it.

I agree about the conservation of biodiversity, where as world development and the development of human civilization many other species have been destroyed either intentionally or unintentionally, therefore we as human beings have responsibility for the preservation so as to keep balance in the ecosystem on this planet earth.
we as humans should be a little wiser and continue to preserve the biodiversity for the future of all creatures and the resilience of this planet earth.

Yes we don't own this planet we are just borrowing it from the future generation, and the generation next to us will also not own it. If we are going to think about it we should learn how to take care of this planet.

Yes, we are not the owners of the this planet. But yet we are ruling this planet. As human beings are the most intelligent species we are owning this planet. But unfortunately in the name of ruling we are destroying this beautiful planet slowly. So as the dwellers of this very planet we should take care and take necessary steps for our own betterment.

Nice speech taking the moral high ground but what do you do differently to anyone else?

Comes across like all these eco warrior Al Gore types that preech to us about global warming while clocking up 100 X the air miles of a regualr person jetting around the world and owning multiple huge properties that consume far more electric and gas than the average person.
