1) is it something new and exciting with scope for improvement and development

2) what competitors does it have and does it have the team to be able to deliver what is needed.

3) I don’t want to see an infinite supply or a team holding on to too much premine, I personally prefer premine a bit they need to get the balance right with how they use it. Just calling it treasury doesn’t cut it for me.

4) if you are doing an Ico then if it’s easy to get in then don’t bother, the ones where you have to network to join are the ones that should get you interested.

5) if you were a billionaire then would you buy the whole circulating supply? This is a question I used to ask when stock picking and although they are completely different it’s a good question to consider

A new altcoin must have practical applications, new technology can develop in the future, is widely used. Helping people know about it, can be deployed into the life of scientific sociology, astronomy, a new era of evolution.

The qualifications I look for on a new altcoin is I always check the project if it is worth it. Like checking if the team is active and the founders as well, and make sure to follow their social media accounts they have and the telegram group to know if the project is working too.
You can´t choose ICO/ altcoins based on this. I see many active altcoins on social media like Dogecoin - they are active but their coin is useless.

before planning on investing, I do a lot of research about the coin in question. First thing is searching up the developers and CEO on LinkedIn or other social medias and confirming that they're the actual people behind the project. Then comes the part where I go through the whitepaper and set a potential gauge for the coin depending upon which the size of my investment lies. Depending upon the uniqueness of the project, if at all there are similar projects, I always go through all of them to be completely sure which one is the best.
These are just some basic factors I believe everyone should go through and research before 'trusting' any altcoin in the market.

i wonder what makes you trust a new altcoin? what you're looking for in their company page etc...?

Looks like choosing the new Altcoin can be done by looking at the data at the time of Ico.
Because of the likelihood that if their Ico is successful, they will have enough funds to do the development in accordance with the planned roadmap.

Off course when a new coin is very new in the market there will be plenty of interest in it so look at the charts when they started it went sky rocket but like 2 months or so it went stable in low.

I also notice it and there are some coin that dump too much as in too much then you are willing to sell it.   If you are a good trader then buy a new coin then sell it when you get a profit then buy a new coin again then do it.  It is the strategy of some trader because they also notice that kind of market on some new coin.

First of all, I think it must look like a realistic project. It should be useful, and have a  realistic concept.  Another thing which is very important is the team behind the project.

It's depend on their team and their target. If their team is good and have transparan with that, and their target is absolute and make solution for new coin, my be I will trust it. But if their work is not good enought, I will see for other coin and choice for not investing.

first define trust?
what are you looking for? do you mean as an investment or as a currency to use?
it is usually an investment so is it ICO or just a simple trading?
and remember that you are not trusting with your life it is just an investment that you make temporarily and pull out as soon as you can.

For me the most important thing is openness of the team and the contract details, their investors and bounty participants support. Support of some prominent figures in the crypto world is a big pre. I trust an altcoin if I see that they have put a lot of effort in the design and that it is good thought through. In addition, I think it is essential that they have released some of the important parts of the coin (and thereby have shown that they are able to develop a coin).

I think that you need to consider background of the developing team. They must be trustworthy people without negative trust. You must look as well on their professionalism, I mean how their official website and social media accounts as well as ann thread.

Along with the transparency I also check what are the unique features the coin offers which is not being offer by other coins. This will help the coin to create a huge demand and has a potential to grow rapidly in coming time. This will help in rising of the price of such coin quickly.

I would like to tell you a little about the fact that you should take the time to familiarize yourself with the Yumerium project. I assure you, you really will be satisfied with the idea of the project. Just take a little time.

I read carefully the whitepaper to set a potential gauge for the coin. If there is an ICO, the results are a good indicator of the future success of the company. I also assess if the route map is realistic. I graduate my investment according to the results of the first stages of the project.

The team. This is very important! You have to look at their profiles, their background, their linkedin, twitter, everyone. You have to "pre-trust" them.
Forums and blogs. See what others are saying about it (that is, apart from bounty campaigners)

right now I believe about altcoin because when it gets a good boost urge in the future, and we can get experience if we will do the exercises. We need to trade altcoin by choosing cheap coins that have good potential to raise the price, Although this is we can save our money from losing with altcoin trading. It is important to have a good study of the market and people's interest as well.
