New altcoin must have practical applications, new technology can develop in the future, is widely used. These are key things to look out before you start considering team strength and other factors.

I look at the concept of the project and collect information about the developers, if the project is strong, then undoubtedly it will develop and the cost of the token will grow

I normally read their white paper and make research on the team behind it. This is to make sure they are who they say they are. I also watch out for the community following the project this helps a lot in mooning the coin.

By investing in altcoins, I expect from them the development of technology, which they stated in their white paper. In the first place you should always put the technology, and if you manage to implement the planned money will come.

I look for different aspect such as the people who are involved in this new coin , there are a lot of people , a famous people who has a great reputation that are involved in a coin and I think that is the first important on a coin, second is their company , what are their goals and f they are meeting their required goals for this month or year for example , because a productive or a successful company can achieve their goal . Mostly  theses are the things I look at before joining a new coin.

I am interested in their technology. And how does the application actually work? Their plans and development projects, as well as the potential for upgrading their technology. Those are the criteria that I evaluate and choose a new altcoin

That's the basic that people needs to look out when trying to analyze projects that have potentials, many investors forget about common information
they just let things according to their analysis and check if luck will permits them to gain double or more than that, if you will going to check the pricniple
of such project, then you will be able to understand the intention and what can happen in the near future of this project, better to be guided well by reading and frequently check the updates coming from the team and community,.

Transparency is the key man. As well as the aggressiveness of the team when it comes to engage in their community like what mainframe did. Awareness is the aim as always if you truly believe in your project there's no way to be ashame of promoting it.

I trust a new altcoin only after I researched their project in great detail. The first good sign of a good coin is the project whitepaper, you can get a lot of information out of it. And then you should research the team background thoroughly: how driven they are, how committed, how talented to see the project through to success. Then you can rely on the coin and join the ICO campaign.

I read carefully the whitepaper to set a potential gauge for the coin. If there is an ICO, the results are a good indicator of the future success of the company. I also assess if the route map is realistic. I graduate my investment according to the results of the first stages of the project.

i wonder what makes you trust a new altcoin? what you're looking for in their company page etc...?
I do not know for sure, but I think it will have a great influence on altcoin if it is released in different exchange markets. So maybe finding out beforehand will be a differentiating factor.

I definitely look at its roadmap - most Altcoins have this published first and of course I look at the team.

Usually when I do my choice about some new alternative cryptocurrency I would look on the project obviously, because every token is representing the project that issued it. So by looking on the project you can predict the future of particular token.

I have never invested in a coin that recently appeared on the market, because we do not yet know how Tim is. How managers ask questions, how they execute the term air sentence. How they gave the last news. Whether a coin can actually solve the problem.

Altcoin new or old must have certain characteristics that shows that it's a good coin! New altcoin must be decentralized, have a developer or group of developers, have a finite supply and must be open and it's code verifiable in github!

You can trust this thing as it is there since long and in terms of market cap it is huge. But if you are buying other altcoins then do some research before purchasing that. If you want to start then start with small investment first.

The new coin should be stable and at a good price. I think that the market must have a good co-ordinating coin with bitmunk.

Because many people have seen other people get a profit from the investment in new coins, it has attracted more people to participate, and there is data to show that ICO is more prosperous this year.
