Yeah I have learned a lot from my gambling mistakes and now that is the reason I have quit gambling as I am now aware that there is no shortcut to earn money and the money which I am loosing in gambling will never be recovered so its better to stay away from it.

I think what brings about this mistake is human nature. People like the feeling of winning, at the same time, like to make up when losing. And so, its always win win for the gambling institution or platform because they can induce people to spend money. Unfortunately, because of this "high" feeling of either winning or losing, you are blinded to stop when its becoming too much or losing too much for that matter.

You made a very good decision to quit gambling at all, because it's really too risky and you can lose your money in few minutes. Personally, i don't consider gambling like a source for profit, I just play it for fun, In the past i made a lot of mistake and i lost a lot of money, but after that i make a decision and i consider it like an entertainment, and i usually bet with low amounts.

It really does not take long time to learn from gambling mistakes, we can already learn something when the first time we are gambling without having to wait until losing or winning. like when you face a first experience of loses, you will automatically wonder whether you should continue to gamble or not. Interesting that you quit gambling so easily, otherwise it is too much hard and difficult to quit gambling once you become addicted to gambling. I ha ve seen people who are addicted to gambling and are playing gambling for more than 30 years, although they want to stop playing gambling any more, but it is in fact not so easy. Some time they stop it, but they succeeded for few days only.

I've learnt my lesson while took some gambling games already years ago. I've learnt that way i dont gamble anymore at all.

I don't even buy any lottery tickets anymore, it's just the odds, they are not on your side. House always wins.

But if you are a gamble addict, this person really need some professional help.

what makes you stop gamble by the way? losing big amount of money? usually people who have lost quite a lot of money continue playing expect to get the loss back instead stop right after your loss accident , are you in that kind situation?

There have been people who are desperately in need to control their gambling urges. This is commonly seen in addicted gamblers and those who dont have any other hobby and have started gambling. i think gambling is for every body because we can see that every day, there is many new people that wants to try to gambling and they don't mind to spend their money for just feeling the games with money. and if somehow they are losing and they still curious, i think they need to learn from their mistakes so he don't make the same mistakes. i think the pro gamblers is learn too and this is makes them increase their skills in gambling games and the best is that pro gamblers don't make mistakes like what he did.

Making mistakes is common, but repeating mistakes is our problem. We already made a mistake to lose our money in gambling in that if we borrow money from our friends and play gamble means this is our mistake. Here we get to know we will not learn anything from our mistakes.

Well only a fool would commit the same mistakes over and over again. Mistakes are committed so we can do better the next time. We either improve or move on to do different things. Gambling surely taught a lot of people valuable lessons financially.

Gambling is a form of entertainment and pleasure for sime and I think that sometimes it cannot be helped. However. Losing gives motivation and also helps the gambler to learn a few tricks and tips and that way he can minimize if not completely erase his lossess.

And what I suggest for such gambler who have a big loss or small loss or any sort of bad aspects coming out from this gambling, he must quit this.

Go away and don’t turn back. It is often advised not to give up to any situation but I think when you, unluckily, encounter with gambling, give up on the spot. That will be better for you rather making it source of entertainment or anything else.

There is no doubt in this thing that if you are losing for many times in gambling, you should quit it as soon as possible because even if you are stick to it after losing huge amount, it means you are addicted to gambling.

Actually a common thing that do happen on most people who do play gambling which do normally say that we do learn from our mistakes when we do already experience losing such money.Some would realize but some would sustain and would really live with it which they would decide to continue even more and hoping and chasing their loses and win it back.

I agree with it, nothing wrong with gambling but everyone of us are destined into something that's for us. And if we have learned something with gambling it can be for us and it can't be for us. I like those people that are open minded with gambling and never blame it for their misfortune. That's true , gambling should be played with a cool head and most of the gamblers we have today are just for the money and nothing else and so their greed leads them into committing unforced errors which can potentially transform them in to addicts.

Well, they don't win because they don't learn.  Number one ---> don't bet against the house! <--- I can say that over and over and over again but nobody listens.  Betting against the house is -EV (Negative Expected Value) <--- that means that you can expect to lose money! It doesn't mean you will lose money but you can expect it.  Find opportunities with a +EV!

Oh ho! It is very sad that people are that much addicted to gambling. Thirty years is a big time period and you cannot change your habit if it is been practiced for thirty years. Hats off to this guys who has easily get over this weakness of him otherwise people don’t stop gambling until and unless they lose their most precious possessions. We should start spreading awareness about the side effects of gambling.

Not anymore! I did a mistake once and i learnt from that. I haven't been a really addicted gambler since starting, but i used to gamble a bit. First with just free coins when there was no Bitcoin in my control, and then with Bitcoin when i got some. Once, i deposited some Bitcoins to a site in order to earn a few bucks out of them (which is the mistake gamblers do, they think they can earn from it), and i managed to earn some at starting, but later on, when i got a little greedy, i lost the amount i have deposited. Now, after losing that money, i thought i can recover them, so i deposited a $100 again for recovery purpose, and placed a bet with the smallest multiplier, and guess what, i lost the bet  From that day since now, i have stopped depositing money to gambling sites. Now i just play when i get a giveaway or something, otherwise, i don't.
