About re-sync simplewallet, after delete .bin file please create the empty .bin file so you can run with GUI on WINDOW, with MAC or LINUX the .bin file will be created automatically.

The simplewallet will be re-sync and update .bin files. Please make sure backup all the wallet files before process.

Trouble shooting:

-  Can not re-sync blockchain or how to re-sync GUI wallet on WINDOW
Please delete your blockchain folder by Run: %appdata%
find and delete folder: atruckcoin
Turn on wallet again or run daemon: truckd.exe (wait until blockchain sync completely)

- How to re-sync simplewallet if your unlock balance still pending for so long?
Please find and delete ONLY ONE .bin file (still KEEP .keys and .address). Run simplewallet again.

What gives with this coin,
I have downloaded official coin...solo mining and pool ming in wallet broken...yet there is a pool
I have joined mail pool - https://goldenhillpool.com/
have been hashing for around 20 mins, no pending, checked ann, and confused...ann says pow Cryptonight-light, pool is accespting my shares using crypotnight, so stopped miner, changed algo to cryptonight-light, let it run for 1-2 mins, got loads of booo's....so stopped miner and restarted using cryptonight.....getting shares again no probs....
Just looked now and about 3 mins ago my ip was banned - why?
Came on here for help, and facebook page doesnt exist
telegram channel doesnt exist
Then searched in google and found there is / was another truckcoin which was a complete scam...
So can some dev please unban me, and explain what on earth is going on please.

TRUCKCOIN (TRKC) is a Cryptonote algorithm based cryptocurrency, it relies on Ring Signatures in order to provide a certain degree of privacy when making a transaction. Truckcoin is a Proof of Work (PoW) cryptocurrency that can be miner with computational power from a CPU or GPU. There are currently no ASICs for Truckcoin, which means that anyone with a computer can mine it.

The first thing you need to think about is if you are going to mine solo or on a pool. Mining on a pool usually comes with a fee but also has it's advantages. The error can be ignored when your node can not connect to it. You may wait until your blockchain sync completely, depend on your network and computer it may take a few hours.

What's Ring Signature?

The ordinary digital signature (e.g. (EC)DSA, Schnorr, etc...) verification process involves the public key of the signer. It is a necessary condition, because the signature actually proves that the author possesses the corresponding secret key. But it is not always a sufficient condition.



Ring signature [1] is a more sophisticated scheme, which in fact may demand several different public keys for verification. In the case of ring signature, we have a group of individuals, each with their own secret and public key. The statement proved by ring signatures is that the signer of a given message is a member of the group. The main distinction with the ordinary digital signature schemes is that the signer needs a single secret key, but a verifier cannot establish the exact identity of the signer. Therefore, if you encounter a ring signature with the public keys of Alice, Bob and Carol, you can only claim that one of these individuals was the signer but you will not be able to pinpoint him or her.



It should be noted that foreign transactions do not restrict you from spending your own money. Your public key may appear in dozens of others' ring signatures but only as a muddling factor (even if you already used the corresponding secret key for signing your own transaction). Moreover, if two users create ring signatures with the same set of public keys, the signatures will be different (unless they use the same private key).

There is little issue when running GUI compilation on MAC and WINDOWS, there is CLI version for WINDOWS with something new about wallet:
- change wallet password
- integrated_address: create public address for receiving
- create watch only keys for viewing balance only
- sweep_all: clean all the remain balance to other address.
