I think ETH still has its own advantage of smart contract.
People usually make new token based on ETH platform.
So I think ETH still has its own market as there are many token ICO with lot of useful application as white paper

There is a good chance for most of the altcoins to rise up after the fork has been done. Obviously Bitcoin's price will drop since traders will migrate their coins to altcoins which will make most of the altcoins to have a spike in the price. Ethereum, Ripple, OMG, NEO, LTC etc.. are some good coins which may see a good increase in price. Ethereum of all the coins will definitely see an increase in price since there is hype about ETH in the market.
ICOs may also have a good rise in their tokens.

I really doubt eth will be able to recover its value if bitcoin remains above 5000 dollars, something that looks like it will happen. For other side we are able to see a lot ICO using the smart contracts, and with China back it looks like and the market is already reacting, bitcoin has broken records.

i think yes ethereum will jump after the BTC fork but i need to wait the results after the fork donot expect the price of ethereum goes jump right after the fork maybe in the few days and the other altcoins are slowly pump hope this expectation will come true.

I think after the plug on October 25, the bitcoin price will drop a little to correct. Bitcoin will drop a little and altcoins. As for the etherium, the other day it is waiting for the announced improvement and how it will affect his course, it is difficult to say. Really hard to say for certain. Many altcoin investors shift their money to bitcoin because of the upcoming split to get free coins. Two possible scenarios that I can think it. [1] Those altcoin investors stick with bitcoin and the free coins they got was reinvested on bitcoin because the price of it is was still rising, so it make sense to stick with it and take profit. [2], altcoin investors, once they got their free coins, put it to altcoin specially Ethereum pumping it to almost $400. I think we can have a clear view once everything settles down on the bitcoin market and see if Ethereum has gain from this Bitcoin Gold fork.

My opinion is that people after the split in 25 October they will reinvest in altcoins and in ETH.
I think that BTC in 5000 E it looks a little expensive and the altcoins now looks cheap enough.

I believe it will jump if they didn't mess the ETH hard fork and then the BTC hard fork.
If both are successful, I'm expecting new all time high's for both and many more coins.

If it will be based on the last hardfork of btc, eth by that time were in demand since everyone is too scared for the fork, but now everyone's exciyed for it for freebies, but still hope for some eth increase for it didn't since then tthat much.

i think all coins jumped after 25th september but specially ethereum goes to the moon because of the hard fork.but i dont know when it will be happen.btc is so boring and i dont understanding why people invest bitcoin

I agree, I don't like investing in bitcoin but have no choice in that matter. Bitcoin is the mother of them all, and is also the only one that is currently continuing to show profit every month while some other coins are stale.

yes indeed the price of ethereum is now again down,
but the price in usd rose, and almost close to 400 dollars

Yes, I suppose. Users would like to transfer some of their gains in pre-fork rally to altcoins and ETH, the favoured prince. This shift should drive the price and a quick mop of cheap but performing coins.

Most of the altcoin will jump for sure once btc value goes down after bitcoingold fork people claim bitcoin gold then they sell btc immediately for cash after some day people will come back once bitcoin price goes down and start to buy altcoin it may take some time based on my speculation altcoin will raise mid November for sure.

i think ETH WILL RISE AFTER THE fork but not by much considering it already rose to $335 the past week.but the altcoins market will experience tremendous increase because people who liquidated their position in the altcoin market will sell some of their btc and probably dump their btc gold to buy back the altcoins.atleast thats what i intern to do
