why did u invest in such coins. i don't know about digibyte (could be a reason not to invest)

if you do some research about siacoin u would know that siacoin itself doesn't want to be "expensive". otherwise no one would be use their service.

Stratis is ok. hold it.

just participate in bounties. let time fly and u will get some of your money back.

It is really painfull thing happened to you. I hope that you have HODLD all your coins and gained huge profit at the moment =)

You cant still be sure if you would able to make money on those alts that you do hold that eventually decrease their price but well holding them and not selling them on lose is the most wise thing to do rather than on panicking seeing your portfolio is on reds. 80% is already severe and for those people who dont have much experience would normally freak out and dont know on what they wanna do on this kind of situation.

I don't think so. I'm a trader, so sometimes, I need to accept my loss. This is the requirement to help me become a professional trader and receive more experiences. It proves I'm not a person don't accept my mistake to help me grow up.

I have learned the same lesson as well. I have sold losing altcoins and that definitely was a big bite on my investment. Now for any  promising altcoin I invested in and at the moment they are losing, I just leave them as they are. One of them after sometime have multiplied more than ten times. And take note, invest here only those funds that you can afford to lose.

If you think these alts are hopeless, then sell and get back whatever you can and invest into alts that you think could give you back what you lost. Most of the traders have invested into Altcoins from June until today all took big loss by the big bearish trending of altcoin and the growth of Bitcoin. Although in the USD rates we do not lose anything, but in Bitcoin rates, we lost many money.

It is common that the prices go down and I think that is a good opportunity to buy some more.
When the coins are going to move up you are going to gain more.
As it was mentioned here before, trading needs strong nerves, and day trading is not for anyone (not for me).
The best is to hold and have patience.

In the time you had wrote this post, the price of altcoin have recovered.
Especially in this week, just more than 4 days, a lot of altcoin have increased 100-300% in the value.

If you lose 80% of your money in trading altcoins, I think you must research more to what altcoins that are really profitable. Maybe the reason why you lose your money is because the altcoins that you are trading is shitcoin.
