Yeah its seems POS is more efficient than POW, and I was just wondering if you did also consider other more viable consensus mechanisms instead?

Not sure how this article relates to LALA since they don't run their own blockchain. Ethereum will become partly PoS but LALA can't influence this.

Also:

The miners earn money in the form of transaction fees in PoS consensus algorithm instead of freshly curated currency, like in the case of PoW consensus mechanism.

This is not completely correct, in PoS it is also possible to receive freshly curated currency, additional to transaction fees.

I wonder if LALA is contemplating to migrate to their own dPOS blockchain? I think that would be a great step in creating more awareness for the LALA World project, and of course it is always good to not have to be dependant on ETH.
