Token Info

Ankorus will begin accepting contributions on the 25th November 2017. Interested parties can contribute cryptocurrencies to Ankorus, which will be the only form of contribution accepted.

The contribution period will last for 30 days, after which the ANK tokens will be allocated to the contributors. Contributors will be able to view their contribution in their smart wallet. The "hard cap" is set at 150,000 ETH.


100 million ANKs (the maximum supply) will be created and apportioned as follows:
- 50% available to the public.
- 24% allocated to the Ankorus treasury.
- 15% allocated to the Ankorus founders*.
- 5% allocated to Ankorus advisors*.
- 3% allocated to bounties.
- 3% allocated to marketers costs.

Regarding team information. We will be adding an advisors section to the webpage in the coming days.
We currently have 8 advisors of which include a German lawyer, a Luxembourg banker and other related people in the industry. Other advisors include Ramez Naam and Alex Lightman.
We also have professional country managers who will be promoting in their respective languages on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites in their languages.

None of us have VC backgrounds and we purposely decided not to go down the VC route.
VC only enables a very few select number of participants to enter at an early stage. This goes against Ankorus' ethos of enabling as low a barrier to entry as possible. We want to democratize the markets and give opportunities to as many people as possible.

Not to be a forum nazi but these tokens are not altcoins and don't belong in the altcoin section. Mods have created a token specific section. Altcoins are projects that have their own independent blockchain. Tokens are projects that rely on an altcoin blockchain i.e. Ethereum.

While the  ANK tokens will be ERC20 compliant, the Anchor Tokens will be on its own blockchain. Respective Anchor Tokens will be backed by a real asset.
For example 1 Apple Anchor will be backed by its underlying Apple Share, while 1 Facebook Anchor will be backed by its underlying Facebook Share.

Umm no. I know loads of traders who have both a traditional investment account who also have crypto and want to move from one to another in a quick effective manner.
Just because you want to avoid the traditional assets doesn't mean others follow your view. Pretty narrow minded approach.

Have you tried moving money from a broker dealer account to a crypto exchange? Takes absolutely ages.

It seems like a good idea to buy the shares or trade in crude oil market with crypto as it is very difficult and time consuming to trade on multiple fronts for an individual.
If this platform can provide a one stop solution  for all the major markets of the world having valued over 1588 trillion US$ than it's amazing.
