I am slowly building my Desire balance & at some point will want to run a MN.

I have two questions both of which are probably stupid, but if I don't ask I won't know.

1. Is it possible to host a MN using a URL that always points to my machines rather than a IP?

2. Is there anyway to solo mine DSR without having to setup a stratum enabled server?

I am very sure you need a static IP - masternode with hostnames/urls are not supported!

About on Running the Masternodes from 1 dec to 30 dec  what if the old Noders will just restart their wallet with new Address with new IP and new Public address ?

Is watchdog expired a big deal? Is sentinel mandatory to install?

As long as your active time keeps increasing you should be fine. I have had 3 nodes running for a couple of weeks and haven't even bothered installing sentinel. Mine are in "watchdog expired" state all the time.

Hell everyone, for the masternode , do we need a vps? I currently have a vps with ubuntu 16.04 anyone know what I need to do to set the master node up? I read  you need to send exactly 1000 coins, than you.

I have followed this post and able to run MN sucessfully. Here they have used Ubuntu 14.04. You need to send 1000.1 DSR then only u will get 1000 DSR in ur wallet.
